    This was a wonderful Guest House. The best we have experienced this trip to Scotland, perhaps the best ever experienced in all our travels around the world. The hosts were generous in greeting us with a glass of very good wine. The. Bedroom was spacious & beautifully decorated as was the rest of the house. Highly recommended by us. - I was made to feel very welcome/Karen and Ian were excellent hosts and the room was fantastic. Breakfast was superb and Ian makes what is probably the best bowl of porridge you'll ever have. He also makes his own sausages which are very tasty ! The house was beautifully kept and the room was very comfortable.. I had a very enjoyable stay. Thankyou.

    We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots. In the morning fantastic Scottish breakfast was served, excellent guest house location and view! :) What was crucial for us - very convenient car park!     We reserved two rooms at the guest house, which is conveniently located near the ferry port at Stornoway. The rooms were large and spacious and well equipped. The guest house is obviously being redecorated, which will add to the value of the rooms. The breakfasts were excellent! Cooked to order and taken in a cafeteria adjoining the hotel.     Good comfortable accommodation. Very friendly and helpful owner, provided transport to and from ferry as I was on foot. Superb breakfast, really sets you up for the day.     Loved the Swimming pool and Spa, amazing facilities with wonderful views and Craignure is best location on the island - right in the middle of the island so short travel both directions to Iona and Tobermory, Bar meals and Restaurant were 4/5 star - great food and staff - We liked everything the staff were very helpful.

    I liked this hotel, Highland standards can be poor compared with big town hotels, but this one is very good, excellant by highland standards. Situation on the main street is good, with good parking. Room was comfortable and clean with a good shower (unusual in the highlands) Staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was first class.... what people say » I didnt use the restaurant, but had a meal in the bar, food was good and the locals very friendly. I travel the highlands a lot, I will use this hote - Maggie was a tremendous help to us in lining up alternate transportation when our tour company cancelled our tour. She let us leave luggage at the hotel while did a bus tour before catching the train back to Inverness. I will happily stay here again!

    I had asked for quiet rooms, and it was quiet and I slept well. The manager was very helpful to me with Directions etc. The meal was lovely and the prices reasonable.
