I've stayed in Etap / Ibis hotels before, and this one is by far the best yet. Their reception staff are friendly, professional and efficient. The hotel is immaculate - my room was faultless, comfortable, and had the cleanest ensuite facilities I have ever experienced. Bed comfort was very good, and external noise levels non-existent.

Great eating facilities on the door step, and cheap park -
The room was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions and information about restaurants. Location was excellent for the nec and the airport is only about 100m away. Also ideal for shopping in Birmingham which is only 10mins away by train. Although there's no bar there is a bar next door in the ibis hotel. And to top it off the price was excellent

I was left alone - very cold night but warm room ,warm reception by staff, good food , excellent breakfast, clean and tidy , comfortable beds . we would return.

We didnt have time to do much as we were only there a few hours brfore getting up very early to fly from the airport - The peace and quietness. Had very little disturbance even though it is next to the airport.Comfortable bed
