    We transferred to Stay City after cancelling another hotel nearby which was sub-standard. We loved Stay City - the apartment we got was fantastic, staff couldn't be more helpful in rearranging the double bed into a twin for us or in providing us with maps and information. This was excellently locat - Family with 2 with teenage kids, It was an extremely clean and modern apartment with a well equipped kitchen and furnishings. It appeared to be brand new. Very warm in fact almost to warm we ended up sleeping with the window open even though it was snowing. Comfy double bed with sliding doors separating it from the kids sleeping on the sofa beds in the lounge area. This was much better than having a family room in a hotel. It was an easy walk into to the city centre but in a quiet location. We

    it was clean, good location for shopping and the train station. we went for the fringe festival. we booked two room and had four in our party, the snooze box is in a great location to go to the gay bars, castle and dungeons in Edinburgh. the rooms are small but do what they need to do with a TV and wet room, they had heating and air conditioning. ... what people say » we are all going back next year and going to stop at the snooze box, next year we will stay longer, great value for money and one of the best holidays - We loved the location which meant we did not have to use public transport. Parking was great, bed was very comfortable as was the bed linen and towels. Everything you need is there. We een got a free tea and coffee in the morning. Excellent. Staff were particuarily helpful and welcoming.

    Although we could not take the room until 2pm we were able to leave our bags much earlier and have them moved to our room when it was ready so we were free to enjoy an afternoon in Edinburgh, which very much appreciated.     the staff were very helpful. they gave us a very big room and it was on the first floor which was very helpful considering i'm pregnant and had two young children with me.there is a bar in the hotel which allowes children in it so if you fancy a drink you can relax with your children.     There is NO better place to stay. The staff is simply wonderful... Especially Harvey! This is the most ideal location.. You are by everything! It made my hop on hop off tour kind of pointless because of the fact you are that close to everything...and the flats were fantastic!! The one on Blair st is updated and a bit modern while the ones on High... what people say » St have more of that historic charm. I stayed an extra day because I enjoyed myself so much. They are very accommodating, helpful, and considerate. - 1) Location for sight-seeing. 2) Facilities included kitchen and washing machine in apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped for its purpose as a travel accommodation. 3) Separate bedroom, so if you travel with someone whose sleep schedule is different than yours, they will not have to wake you up. I don't know how much the company will accommodate your request, such as for a quiet apartment, but they supposedly do have different properties under their management, so it's worthwhile to ask.

    All our stay was perfect. The bedroom was just like the one in the pictures. Very clean and comfy. Great double bed. Perfect with tea/coffee/chocolate facilities in the room. Double glass window. Dark and thick curtain to get the room dark at night.     The Culane House Hotel, where we stayed for a total of 2 weeks, was great in so many ways. First, the staff are exceptional- helping with directions, finding certain kinds of shops and being super-attentive. We were originally put in a very large king-sized room.     We had a perfect stay at the Apex International Hotel. Our room was fantastic with excellent views of the castle and was very clean and comfortable.     The location was perfect as we were up for the Heinken Cup rugby. Great location, for both Airport and Train. Will certainly use the hotel again - the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was very good,the room and facilities were better than i expected and it had a car park.

    Having never stayed at this type of lodging we were a little hesitant and unsure what to expect after reading the reviews; however we were pleasantly surprised! We had an amazing view of the castle, and a large spacious room. Location is close to everything Edinburgh has to offer if you don't mind hills, there are lots of taxis nearby as well. A reasonable price for a city location so was not put off going. I was able to be in the same flat as friend I went with. We were able to make use of the kitchen which saved money for eating out. The staff were very friendly and fun.
