We stayed in a recently refurbished rom and it was very comfortable and quiet. A new large shower cubicle and shower had been installed and was very welcoming first thing in the morning. Everything was fabulous! The hotel was very clean and nice, the position couldn't have been better, close to everything, great view. The room is brand new, with modern decoration and fully equiped. We apreciated very much that there were facilities in the room to make tea, coffee or hot chocolate and they provided as water for free and even cookies.I strongly recommend this hotel!

Great location, great value and a very friendly welcome on arrival. As everyone says, be prepared for the stairs - it's the norm in Edinburgh. The room was spacious and well furnished. We had a street facing room but the noise wasn't bad at all. You are given keys to the front door and your room on arrival so you aren't restricted by times. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay (and remained so even though we had a blip).
The breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choice and enough to set you up for a good day ahead. We stayed for the rugby and the central location meant not only could we explore the city but we could wa

This facility is ideal for a multiple night stay. With full kitchen, bath, and laundry facilities in a luxury apartment setting, it was an ideal home-away-from-home getaway. The value of the apartment was far greater than that of a hotel room in our opinion. The staff was helpful in every way and the amenities provided were excellent. It is close to the bus lines and also easy to walk to many of the lovely places in Leith and Edinburgh.

Very nicely decorated hotel/friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast room and service.
Bathrooms modern and clean.
If you want to stay out of central downtown, are driving a car and take buses and tours, this works very well. Some signs of wear and tear here and there but it has the character of an older building which was exactly what I was looking for in Scotland. The downstairs sitting room with snacks and bar fridge a nice feature. Business office available.

2) Facilities included kitchen and washing machine in apartment. The kitchen was well-equipped for its purpose as a travel accommodation.
3) Separate bedroom, so if you travel with someone whose sleep schedule is different than yours, they will not have to wake you up.
I don't know how much the company will accommodate your request, such as for a quiet apartment, but they supposedly do have different properties under their management, so it's worthwhile to ask.
