    Very close to Princess Street with its many shops and eating places,with the train station a short walk away.     We transferred to Stay City after cancelling another hotel nearby which was sub-standard. We loved Stay City - the apartment we got was fantastic, staff couldn't be more helpful in rearranging the double bed into a twin for us or in providing us with maps and information. This was excellently locat - Family with 2 with teenage kids, It was an extremely clean and modern apartment with a well equipped kitchen and furnishings. It appeared to be brand new. Very warm in fact almost to warm we ended up sleeping with the window open even though it was snowing. Comfy double bed with sliding doors separating it from the kids sleeping on the sofa beds in the lounge area. This was much better than having a family room in a hotel. It was an easy walk into to the city centre but in a quiet location. We

    Staff very helpful, we left our bags in hotel until check-in and were able to have late check out for only £20 extra. Breakfast on go great idea and great value for money. Will definately be back as perfect for train station and shopping. Hotel is very clean and rooms are lovely.     The location on the Royal Mile was perfect for our stay, within easy reach of the things we wanted to do. It was easy to drive too, with easy parking behind the hotel. It was also easy to get out of Edinburgh from this location.     The staff were very helpful and friendly.The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was great with a good selection. The location of the hotel is quite far from the city center but there is a bus leaving every 5-10 mins from just around the corner. It takes about 20 mins and drops you right on Pinces Street.     We loved the apartment. Just big enough for a couple, with a separate living area. Nice big comfortable bed in the bedroom. Free Wi-Fi. Dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, fridge and all the kitchen stuff one may need.     We are a Spanish people living in Liverpool and we spent the weekend in this beautiful Guest House to visit Edinburgh. We went by car, so the free parking 24 hours was perfect for us( Its is situated right at the hotel), The most famous Edinburgh's points are in walking distance, no need for a car. The breakfast options were a great variety and super delicious. Lovely typical Scot - the breakfasts were large with lots of toasts the bedroom was large the beds very comfy the en suite was large the location was very central and on a bus route we were given a map when we arrived with the attractions and to see we also had a night of Scottish songs and guitar from allan the owner who also told the Scottish history through pictures on a big screen which was interesting and easy listening music
