The basement apartment was nice, cosy and warm. It was also quiet - but it depends on your neighbours. The bed was comfortable and what is important when it's cold - heating was on :) Everything we needed was there. If you smoke you can easily go outside on the small terrace from the living room - no need to go out on the street. Bedroom, kitchen ... what people say » and livingroom were clean. It was about 30 minutes by foot to International Conference Centre. - Great apartment - has everything a tired traveler would need, not least a milk&paper shop literally on the doorstep and a fine Nepali restaurant nearby too. Not too far from town, and close to a bracing walk up the crags. Swimming pool/fitness close by too.
