    I was very impressed by the Ramada Hotel Dover and it would be my first choice of hotel when staying in Dover on business again.     My partner and I were upgraded and had a wonderful stay in a room with a goregous four poster bed, the bathroom had a lovely jacuzzi bath. The hotel staff were clearly busy but extremely friendly, curteous and welcoming. The hotel restaurant served excellent food and was enjoyed by hotel guests and many locals!     This hotel was clean, modern and excellent value for money. The staffwere very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thefacilites in the wheelchair accessible room we booked were the best Ihave seen in any accommodation in the uk, with automatic doors intothe room, a wet room with a seat in the shower, wide doors and loweredhand basin... what people say » s. - By far the best budget hotels we have used - fantastic value for money and just minutes away from the Channel tunnel. We were travelling to France early the next morning before the start of breakfast so we were given a takeaway breakfast for the journey! Holiday Inn will definitely be our preferred hotel choice for our next visit!

    I booked this hotel because it was cheap and central, and was delighted at the bonus that was a warm, welcoming, quirky hotel (the second-oldest building in Canterbury I was informed) with lovely, friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help. Also bottled wat - You step back into history walking in here - You can feel the atmosphere of an old Hostelry in times gone by - and what a lovely little back terrace to sit and have breakfast or just a coffee. The owners and staff are amazing and so friendly and helpful - they went out of their way to help us and make us feel at home. Great Breakfast and a wonderful place all round. Our stay here made Graduation so special for my daughter and me she says she will never forget waking up her on Graduation mornin

    Quiet location - I was woken by birdsong, not traffic or people in other rooms. Warm sizeable room, window could be opened, comfortable bed, good bath. Arrived on eastbound side, but instructions for crossing motorway were clear, and no problems despite arriving after 11pm.     They create a wonderful environment at this hotel. Lots of little extras that are wonderful and make you feel at home. We were there in the off season and there were hot water bottles in the bed at night, both practical and cosy. An honor bar, records to play and just a lovely environment. It's not totally quiet, you can hear your neighbors a bit, ... what people say » but it's absolutely lovely and I would not hesitate to stay there again and in fact plan to for a nice quiet couple of days get away. - This is a small, independently owned and run boutique hotel. The owner was always on hand but never intrusive. The whole experience could be decsribed as staying in a private home. We loved the log burning fires, LPs and record player, cheese , biscuits and other treats laid out in the evening for guests consumption. The breakfasts are pretty good too. We plan to return.

    We were there at Easter, so no business people and almost no tourists. And we loved: the two-storey twin bedroom with seaview on two sides (chose room no. 302!), the more than friendly staff creating a real bed and breakfast atmosphere, the beach in front of us and also the kind of old-fashioned furnishing.     Our room was large with everything we needed, including a balcony overlooking the channel. The bathroom was also large with a very powerful shower. The staff on reception couldn't have been more helpful.     We've stayed at the Royal Wells before and would go back there every time. It's by far our most favourite place to stay when we are in that area. It's friendly, relaxiing and extremely clean.
