I cannot praise the Fernbank enough. The owner could not have been more helpful or hospitable. The hotel is beautifully decorated cared for. The public areas were very relaxing to sit in. The room I stayed in was spotless and very comfortable.

The staff were excellent and made you feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. The Hotel was furnished well and very comfortable, lovely gardens to relax in if the weather was good and a very nice heated indoor pool. Breakfast was excellent with a big choice and plenty of it. The Fernbank delivers a high quality of service and comfort and we would certainly go back.

Loved everything about it. Best ever breakfasts, with all you could ask for. The rooms were stylishly decorated and very comfortable and pleasantly warm when it was cold outside. The hotel is well situated for the beach, transport links and the lovely old village.
Gillian and Andy, the proprietors, were very helpful in suggesting the nicest places to visit and how best to get there.
All in all a great hotel.

My children really loved staying at Sandown Manor: they called it the "best hotel they'd ever stayed at". The enjoyed the animals, games and playroom very much. The owners were extremely kind and helpful with us. They made us feel at home and willing to come back very soon.

The shower was lovely and powerful and the bathrooms very clean and well-stocked as we forgot shower gel! The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in away from home! And the style of the rooms made it feel special and cosy, at a great price. Loved this place..Rosemary and John were lovely as were their staff (thanks girls).Room was perfect, uncluttered clean and very tidy. Great place to use as home base. Lovely to be left to our own devices and not hassled by the staff,if we needed to change anything we only had to ask. Food was lovely. Ideal location for our groups needs being close to several bus services to access the whole island. John and Rosemary made sure of our comfort and requirements even though they had to deal with a first night no-show of one of our group.
Property is period furnished and pleasantly warm in the guest areas. Breakfast was ample and tasty and we were able to choose a 09.30 time which suited us perfectly.

owners and comfortable facilities at Westbury Lodge.We had a lovely ground floor en suite twin bedded room, which I found convenient, as I am not as mobile as I used to be. The Lodge is diabetic friendly with suitable breakfast food and help with storing insulin or ice packs.

I am wheat & dairy free which wasn't a problem for my hosts the full english breakfast was well presented and really tasty. I have really enjoyed my stay at the Miclaran B&B I got a friendly welcome, my bed was comfortable with soft cotton sheets. Great view out to sea
