We arrived after climbing on Ben Nevis soaking wet and tired - very friendly and welcoming staff provided us with paper towels to dry our boots. In the morning fantastic Scottish breakfast was served, excellent guest house location and view! :) What was crucial for us - very convenient car park! Very good value for money! -
Very nice and gentle s... what people say » taff. Place only a few minutes from the bus station and the centre of Portree. Nice view over the harbour. A small Co-op store in near. Together, we could solve the problem with the Internet-Problem ;-)

I liked the very friendly staff, nothing seem to bother them. Tommy the manager is a credit to all managers. I liked this hotel, Highland standards can be poor compared with big town hotels, but this one is very good, excellant by highland standards. Situation on the main street is good, with good parking. Room was comfortable and clean with a good shower (unusual in the highlands) Staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast was first class.... what people say » I didnt use the restaurant, but had a meal in the bar, food was good and the locals very friendly. I travel the highlands a lot, I will use this hote -

when our tour company cancelled our tour. She let us leave luggage at
the hotel while did a bus tour before catching the train back to
Inverness. I will happily stay here again!

The staff were nice people. I liked their honesty. The room was great for the price, as was the shower (very powerful and hot). Service was fine in general. Although some people had wrong drinks brought to their table and food from the kitchen was slow for some. It was dog friendly and the staff were really accommodating. We stayed in twin room with outside bathroom. The room is very clean, the space is not big, but enough for us stay comfortably. Very good breakfast. Nice and helpful host. Outstanding view to see and Skye island. Our room was small and tiny, but very well designed and very functional. We liked full size shower cabin.

Andrew and his staff were excellent. Nothing was too much bother. The food was also excellent especially breakfast. Their recommendation for eating out was superb on the night they did not do food. The hotel was easy to find and Andy the host made us very welcome, unfortunately Tues & Wed are the chefs nights off but Andy recommended restaurants which were superb. Rooms were clean and shower rooms excellent, The scenery in the whole area is stunning and will definitely be back to Tingle Creek.
