The staff, the food, the sitting rooms were all of the highest
standard. I drove and walked around by myself for a chance to reset and
relax and Kinloch Lodge was such a luxurious experience. I actually
tried to book elsewhere before but they were full, and I am so glad
that they were now. -

We arrived a few hours early, as our room was not ready we decided to
head to the bar, there was a roaring fire and we were greeted by the

I stayed in the attic room, which was very quaint and had a ton of character, I absolutely loved the room. The location of this hotel is perfect for relaxing or hiking, it is located right near the water with amazing views. It also has a bar and restaurant on site which allows you to sit, relax, eat and drink (with a good selection of cocktails,... what people say » whiskey, and local brews. The staff was very nice. -
The new owners were friendly and trying hard to make all the guests happy; this included 'a wee dram' of whisky on arrival and a bottle of sparkly when our table for dinner was not ready on time. This hotel looks down over the town of Portree on the Isle of Skye and is only two blocks from city centre shopping and restaurants. The guest house is beautifully renovated. The bed was so comfy. The view from our window towards the bay was amazing. Staff were excellent as was the restaurant. It also has a nice pub within. We found the Marmalade hotel perfect for our short trip to Portree. We are a family with children aged 9 and 10 and the family room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good and the breakfasts lovely. The hotel is a small walk out of the town of Portree and has lovely views. We would definitely recommend it and hope to go back!

The staff were nice people. I liked their honesty. The room was great for the price, as was the shower (very powerful and hot). Service was fine in general. Although some people had wrong drinks brought to their table and food from the kitchen was slow for some. It was dog friendly and the staff were really accommodating. the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food

The hotel has a very nice location. Clean room. Nicely designed room with steps and separated sections between living and bedroom. Co-op is within walking distance. Breakfast has several choices and we love the poach smoked Haddock with poached egg. The room is spacious. Wifi is quite fast.
