    Our birthday surprise for Dad went down really well. I booked the suite with balcony as we had a travel cot to give maximum space which it did. The hotel which does allow dogs had immaculate bedroom, bathroom and sitting room facilties including a spa bath which was a lovely surprise. All the staff were very accomodating and happy to assist wi - All of the staff made me and my dog feel welcome, the owners were genuinely interested in what mine and my dogs needs might be and ensured that the needs were met. All staff had a lovely sense of humour, the welcome genuine and friendly and the location was wonderful; woodland and direct access to the beach We ate in the bar every night the food and the atmosphere was great, we will definitely be going back

    I liked everything really. It was quiet, so I was able to sleep right through the night, which isn't always possible in hotels. The service was excellent, staff friendly, polite and helpful. Wonderful countryside, and convenient for Lampeter and the coastal village of Aberaeron.     I have no complaints about any part of my stay at the Halford. All staffwhere very helpfull, my request to have breakfast early was not aproblem. The service and food at the bar where very good, thanks. - Unfortunately we only stayed for one night, I will return for a longer stay next time, both the hotel and the area were excellent

    The friendly personal service that we received and the lovely atmosphere in the hotel. The location and facilities were excellent. We shall stay there again. - Fantastic food and very friendly service. Good atmosphere in hotel. Lovely room, well decorated and equipped. I would highly recommend.

    When we arrived late on Friday night the staff were more than happy to let us head straight into the restauant prior to checking in. As the hotel wasn't busy we were given a free upgrade to an absolutely beautiful room which just made the weekend for us. Breakfast on both days was delicious and the meal on Friday night was excellent and very reaso... what people say » nably priced for the quality provided. I honestly don't have a single complaint about the entire weekend and will happily come back for another visit. - We were travelling with our dog and were told that the hotel was pet friendly. We cannot fault the service or friendliness of the staff nor the quality of the hotel's facilities. We ate at the hotel and as everything else the food was of the best quality.

My room was spotless, the guest house both friendly and quiet, and breakfast delicious--I especially liked the cherry tomatoes, cheese, croissants, and fruit. All thanks for a wonderful visit. It was perfect for the reason I went to Aberystwyth--to do research at the - Good room. Great breakfast. Excellent service. I was very late coming in from Falmouth, Cornwall. At 7.30 pm, 30 minutes before the latest check-in time of 8.00 pm I was still in Bristol, more than 3 hours drive from Aberystwyth. I phoned the house and informed that I would arrive 11.00 pm and Marlena, the housekeeper said no problem, she could wait for me. I arrived 10.50 pm, and Marlena opened the door after just one press of the door bell.

    What a fantastic little hotel in a great location. We had stunning views from the room of the beach & coastline. The room itself was very spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. We ate in on both nights we stayed and the food was exceptional. It was beautifully presented and tasted great. It is a delightful sandy beach with the chance to see dolphins if you are lucky. The service and food is excellent and we would recommend it to anyone.     Staff very helpful and friendly. Accomodation was fresh, comfortable and clean with an awesome sea view (room 3) and 'seaside shabby chic' in style. Our friend's room did not hav ea view but was still gorgeous. Recently the interior has all been upgraded and it shows. The bar and restaurant were excellent, great atmosphere. I arrived having driven from Warwickshire and not having stopped off for - The Grove at Narberth will be remembered fondly for the friendly and professional staff. The little extras that meant so much such as the surprise on our arrival from the owners and staff. The attention to detail including the presentation of our room through out our stay. And the Breakfast was delicious. The business is a Credit to the owners and staff. Highly recommended.

    Loved absolutely everything about the Guesthouse. Debbie the owner was so kind and helpful, a genuine host who knew how to go the extra mile to make her guests experience unique, as only the Welsh could. Loved the homemade stonecakes look out for them at breakfast.
