    Everything! I thoroughly enjoyed my six-night stay. My room was spotless, the guest house both friendly and quiet, and breakfast delicious--I especially liked the cherry tomatoes, cheese, croissants, and fruit. Julian, the proprietor, and Marlena, who helped him, were gracious hosts. They gave me a grand tour of the new B&B, down on the wat... what people say » er front, which just opened on July 1st. All thanks for a wonderful visit. It was perfect for the reason I went to Aberystwyth--to do research at the - Good room. Great breakfast. Excellent service. I was very late coming in from Falmouth, Cornwall. At 7.30 pm, 30 minutes before the latest check-in time of 8.00 pm I was still in Bristol, more than 3 hours drive from Aberystwyth. I phoned the house and informed that I would arrive 11.00 pm and Marlena, the housekeeper said no problem, she could wait for me. I arrived 10.50 pm, and Marlena opened the door after just one press of the door bell.

    A fantastic place to stay. This is a lovely bed and breakfast in a beautiful setting. Jen is really welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely, really comfortable and with all the facilities I could want. Apparently it was really windy on the night I stayed but I never noticed as I was too busy sleeping! Breakfast was lovely. All this and great ... what people say » value for money too. 10/10 - I can recommend East Hook Farmhouse wholeheartedly. Jen is absolutely fabulous hostess. She made us feel better than home. Room was cosy, spacious with wonderful bathroom. Everything was very comfortable and the whole house has the air of something that's looked after with love. Fantastic proper breakfast made with local food. Best place we've ever stayed in.

    The friendly personal service that we received and the lovely atmosphere in the hotel. The location and facilities were excellent. We shall stay there again. - Fantastic food and very friendly service. Good atmosphere in hotel. Lovely room, well decorated and equipped. I would highly recommend.

    I am 31 years old and visited with my 11 year old daughter. Fantastic building, with secure parking underneath. Has currently just under gone renovation so lingering smell of fresh paint and new bedding. Lovely, helpful staff and very close to local shops. Local area has many activities including watersports, horseriding and beautiful scenery/ coa... what people say » stal walks. Pembroke Castle is a 5min drive away, and I recommend visiting St Govans and 'The Green Bridge of Wales' we took amazing photos there. The - Enjoyed the space of the rooms, including having en-suite bathrooms for both bedrooms. The kitchen facilities were also ideal, which we made more than use of. My wife was very impressed with the art work on the walls, as well as the decor in the apartment. Liked the friendliness of Dave who was very informative about the area, as well as showing much interest in myself competing in the local Ironman event.

    We arrived early for our stay and the staff did everything to get our accommodation ready.We had a warm welcome from the staff who were all very friendly. We stayed in the Dovecotes which was ample accommodation for my daughters and myself. The property had everything you could need . The weather couldn't have been any b - The facilities are well thought out , the free dvd loans, the pool the out door facilities for the children. The safe enviroment, the restaurant was very welcoming & very good with the children, we got there after reception was closed & were told to go straight to our bungalow where a warm atmosphere greeted us with local radio playing & side lights on. Lovely start to our break.

    The proprietors and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable as was the hotel lounge. The dining room was attractively decorated (as were all other rooms that we saw) and both breakfasts and evening meals were delicious, with an excellent choice of menu.     This was a lovely place to stay after a long business trip. The room was very comfortable and clean with little touches such as fresh milk in the fridge and soft fluffy towels. The staff were very friendly and polite and I didnt feel awkward eating on my own in the bar as I do in larger hotels when on business. The food is superb and the decor and atmosphere is fantastic. The staff are friendly, welcoming and can't do enough for you. Newport is one of my favourite places and I love the fact that the hotel uses local products from the fillet steak to the Melin Tregwynt cushions!

    The staff were very friendly and professional, and we were welcomed warmly. The room (China) was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with a huge bathroom with both bath and shower. Home made biscuits added a nice touch. The rooms were wonderful. We were so taken with the hotel, we extended our stay - which the staff managed for us perfectly. The restaurant was excellent, and a nice place for an evening. The bar likewise, good ales and wine, and the atmosphere of a good pub (with a great terrace too, if the sun's shining) - perfect. The breakfasts were great too.
