  I was really impressed with Hotel Gleneagles. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was upgraded to a very comfortable room with a balcony on arrival. I was travelling on my own and the hotel catered for all my needs. Evening meal was exceptional and breakfast was very good too. All so friendly and willing to go the extra step. The decor of the hotel is stunning and makes you feel you'd rather stay in then venture out in Torquay! We will definitely be returning.

  Nice little room -- clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful -- they took care of booking a taxi for me for the next morning. I will definitely stay there if I ever visit Plymouth again. - Thought the hotel was lovely - full of character and very comfortable. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced

  Our favourite hotel on our trip.We booked a small room with en suite and it was very comfortable. The location of the hotel was brilliant, right on the harbour. Food was great, people were friendly and a very relaxed attitude. We loved Ilfracombe itself, so much to do and see. Plenty on offer for all types of people. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast and huge portions. Nothing was too much trouble and even carried our bags up to our room when we said we could manage. Highly recommend paying the extra for a luxury room, the spa bath was fantastic size with plenty of hot water and room for two! Also the huge bed was straight out of fifty shades and really comfy.
