    The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful. The bar was cosy and the food good and big portions! The room was warm and comfortable. - I couldn't fault anything & the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food they serve was excellent and I would definitely stay there again.

    After reading some negative reviews about this hotel I was really not expecting much at all. How wrong I was. My two children (age 4 & 8) and I stayed for 1 night. The staff were friendly,helpful and lovely with my children. The food was delicious. The offer of £20 for a four course meal and both children ate free meant we could dine in the h... what people say » otel. The pool was a little cool but still enjoyed to the full.We look forward to our next visit. - the staff members were awesome they looked after our requirements of the menu as my wife didn't want what was on the sweet menu, they said no problem. she asked what do you like and they made it happen. wow impressive the chief was out standing in the presentation and taste of all the food we had. we really recommend the food top class at reasonable price. just like to say thank you for making our weekend special we will be going back

    Location, 10 minute walk into town. Helpful and knowledgeable, Paul knows the area and has colleagues who can provide outdoor activities etc if required. There is an excellent Italian resteraunt which has a steak night on a Wednesday which was recommended by Paul. Paul the owner is a very easy going and helpful person. The breakfast is a choice o... what people say » f fruit juices, cereal, and a full English if required. My room was on the top floor with an ensuite. room had tea and coffee facilities. Downstairs - I came to Penrith for a last minute festival participation and found Norcroft through this site. It is much better value than similar establishments, great breakfasts are made to order each morning and owner Paul bends over backwards to accommodate, he is truly a class act. (He will drive you wherever you need to go if he is available and at a much better rate than the local taxis.) The place is just off the downtown core and is spotless with nice modern bathrooms. I truly lucked out with this
