  lovely hotel with exceptionally friendly helpful staff.Position close to beach in a nice quiet spot no road noise whatsoever. Room was big and breakfast was plentiful - everything, excellent stay, great surroundings, good food, friendly staff, very clean and reasonably priced.Plenty of sight seeing to do.

  We were made to feel so welcome, the room was excellent and thebreakfast even better. We had no problem useing our card to pay andfound no problem with parking - I travel a lot for work and chellowdene was one of the best guest houses by far friendly, clean and a great breakfast. i found no problem parking

The food was well...... simply excellent, and while i was sitting in the lounge enjoying my point looking through a huge glass window at the sea, the view was stunning.....A perfect relaxing evening to an otherwise busy day....3*** ... yes.... 3*** service at ... what people say » 2** prices.. well pleased..... Thank you.! - we have been there twice before. the owners are friendly and we were remembered which was nice.breakfast was excellent,choices were given. the bedrooms are very comfortable. the hotel is right by Gyllingvase Beach with an excellent view of the sea.would go again.

  The location of the hotel although being outside the main centre of newquay was ideal as Tolcarne beach was on the doorstep. On arrival we were allocated room 9 which is probably the pick of all the rooms due to the lovely balcony overlooking Tolcarne Beach. The hotel is spotless, as are the rooms with soft clean white towels and comfy beds.   A very pleasant surprise, Simon and Susan are fantastic hosts from themoment you arrive to when you leave. They ensure that you are made tofeel welcome and make the time to informing you of the localsurroundings (you are even given a map of the local town on arrival) andare on hand to assist with any advice. I found my four night stay there one of the most pleasant short breaks that I have taken in a long time. Everything was perfect.

  The whole friendly atmosphere was very reasurring and comforting. We enjoyed the company and the surroundings and ease of travelling to otehr centres and scenic spots.   Really liked my sunny south facing bedroom with excellent en-suite bathroom. Exceptionally comfortable memory foam mattress (particularly important as I sometimes suffer with back pain). Really friendly, helpful landlady Rosemary who makes very tasty breakfasts and is full of local knowledge. Also Bruce who helped me sort out my best route to n... what people say » ext destination. Lovely couple. It was also very helpful having on site parking.Would hugely recommend anyone else to stay. - Our friendly hosts provided clean, well equipped accommodations. From this location you can walk to restaurants, the harbour, town centre and National Maritime Museum. Pendennis Castle is a 5 minute drive away. The breakfast, provided for an additional charge, was excellent.

The setting on beautiful,wild Bodmin Moor is romantic and atmospheric but extremely handy just off the A30. Warm and cosy inside, Manager Steve and his staff always make you more than welcome. Rooms are comfortable and squeaky clean and you can be sure of a very good breakfast the next day!

  The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Friendly reception, free parking,had room 119 a twin with sea view to front and side , spacious well decorated with modern bathroom for £71 and a full English thrown in , me im not complaining.
