Barbara and Stephen were perfect hosts. Barbara shared her wealth of knowledge about this part of Cornwall. Steve is a professional chef so every meal, breakfast or dinner, was first class and consequently we chose to have most of our meals there. Together they went out of their way to ensure our week long stay was perfect. We would thoroughly recommend Smugglers.
The very comfortable room with its courtyard seating area - the excellent food prepared and served by Barbara and Steve, who were a lovely friendly couple, making us feel at home from the start. We shall certainly return in the future, as the location was superb.all reviews »
Our hostess, Barbara, was delightful and offered excellent advise regarding the local attractions. Our spacious room was beautifully appointed with everything one could possibly need. We stayed in Langley and it was very nice and private.
A great location in Newlyn, right above the harbour. Our room was spotless and comfortable and provided a great nights sleep. Host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best we have had on our trip to England.
The proprietors with the best we had photos wonderful. I was a little nervous that it would be noisy being above a restaurant or on the main street but it was quiet it was so lovely and parking was easy right up the street.
Great welcome from Barbara. Room was clean, spacious + all mod cons. Bathroom clean & tidy with space. Food was excellent. Dinner in the restaurant highly recommended. Breakfast top notch too. Service was fine too.
Had a really great stay, Rooms were great, and a fantastic choice at breakfast. Plenty to eat. Really friendly couple. Would stay there again but ask for the room down on the ground floor.
There are only 3 rooms so not over crowded, each is decorated and fitted to a very high standard. The restaurant menu selection is very good and the food is superb.

Parking was a bit of a challenge but not serious. If you are a smoker (I am) no smoking is permitted inside or outside.
Parking is a bit of an issue but it is there nearby. Unloading in the narrow street is also difficult but if you are staying in a good location in an old fishing village you have to expect this.
Rooms at rear of premises - no views.
The only one thing was the 2 rooms that are joined. Was how thin the wall was. You could hear the conversation. Among other noises. Just a small point.
