The service was excellent and the owner of the house extremely friendly. Her dog barks but does not bite. The breakfast though continental gave enormous choice and the quantity was there with the quality. Highly recommended!!! The B&B is in a quiet cul de sac which I don't rate as a disadvantage. Everything was perfect. We've been hearty welcomed by Lliwen. She was very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice, comfy bed, and what a stylish design bathroom, but with all the nice little details that make you feel cosy and homely. The continental breakfast was perfect - everything you need for a good start. Highly recommended.

I liked absolutely everything about Cornerways Guest House. Carol, the landlady was so warm, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Her attention to detail shows that she genuinely loves what she does. She gave us good advice and recommendations and helped make our whole visit a delightful experience. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. We booked 2 nights but enjoyed it so much we had to stay a third night.

I have stayed there many times, starting in the mid 1970'S. It
became a luxury hotel after that, and this is the first time I stayed in
the more modern era. In general, I liked everything, but especially the
staff. I feel they gave outstanding service. I arrived without a wallet
and no money to pay the cab. The hotel staff graciously paid the cab ... what people say » and

The hotel was charming and inviting. The location was perfect for us. I was traveling with my daughter visiting another child that is taking a gap year and is in the Oxford Tutorial College. she was able to get to us and we got around the town wonderfully. The staff were all helpful and informative. The environment was cozy and warm which was greatly appreciated because the weather was chilly and wet. Would definitely recommend to others.

Wow! This pub/restaurant with rooms nailed it. We spent two weeks traveling around England and based on the reviews decided to book two nights here. Granted, it was on the high side of our budget, but we're so glad we splurged on this one. It was easily the best experience we had on our trip. Staff was super-friendly and helpful. The dinner was outstanding. I'm no foodie, but the menu was Michelin-star quality in my opinion. If you're passing by or need to be in Oxford on business, do yourself

I booked the hotel mainly because of its proximity to the venue for a college reunion dinner. A spacious free carpark in the centre of Oxford was an added bonus. The staff welcomed us back for our 1st wedding anniversary with their friendly, courteus mannerm and a bottle of champagne in the room- we first stayed at The Old Bank last year ,having just got married, and they made our trip extra special by upgrading our room and again giving us champagne. It's the little touches that make it so special! we will be back every anniversary!

Everything! The staff are great, the room is lovely (and warm -
important in the middle of winter), the rain shower is amazing, the
