    I liked everything. I have stayed in 5 different hotels over the summer and none of them were anywhere near the standard of the Remont. It was not plush or luxurious but a place where i felt immediately at home . The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was really, really good. Nothing fancy just good quality and beautifully cooked.     We have learned that in England if you have a car you need to check tosee if there is parking at the Hotel. We have recently stayed in Bathand had to pay 8 pounds per day to park the car at the back of the b andB.     We stayed at the Dial House for two nights. It was not planned trip and was a last minute booking. We could not have asked for more. The family were wonderful, really friendly and helpful.     It was a new guest house. It was very clean, very good quality of pillows and matrices, we had an excellent sleep. The entire decoration was minimal but beautiful. The stuff was very helpful and professional. Very close to the train station and the center.     I have stayed there many times, starting in the mid 1970'S. It became a luxury hotel after that, and this is the first time I stayed in the more modern era. In general, I liked everything, but especially the staff. I feel they gave outstanding service. I arrived without a wallet and no money to pay the cab. (My wallet had been temporarily lost.) - The hotel was charming and inviting. The location was perfect for us. I was traveling with my daughter visiting another child that is taking a gap year and is in the Oxford Tutorial College. she was able to get to us and we got around the town wonderfully. The staff were all helpful and informative. The environment was cozy and warm which was greatly appreciated because the weather was chilly and wet. Would definitely recommend to others.

    Room was clean and modern. Bed was comfortable and very convenient to bus station and centre of town. Breakfast was fine as was showering facilities if you don't mind sharing a bathroom with others.
