I liked everything. I have stayed in 5 different hotels over the summer and none of them were anywhere near the standard of the Remont. It was not plush or luxurious but a place where i felt immediately at home . The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was really, really good. Nothing fancy just good quality and beautifully cooked. I loved it. Great room; clean, spacious, roomy modern shower; comparable to a good hotel. Varied English breakfast buffet with attentive staff to get your day started. All staff members pleasant and helpful.

Is a little bit far from the centre.Limited veggie selection as no veggie sausage or bacon available at breakfast. A small fridge in the room would be ideal given that there was no bar facilities. If possible ask for a room towards the garden, better than the noisy Banburry road of the frequent buses.I though it was a little expensive as it was only Bed and Breakfast. The price seemed a bit steep. We needed 3 different keys to get to our room.Room was very hot at night. Whilst I stopped in Feb, I can imagine the attic room that I stopped in the summer would be too hot. Superior room did not have a real king size bed (too short), bed also quite hard. No sound insulation between rooms or to corridor. You could hear the adjoining guest's tv as the walls were very thin. Theshower was hard to access as the screen was in the way. It was veryexpensive for what it was.a little bit far from the center, rooms a bit small, not sound proof installation on walls. The location is quite suburban which is not the impression you get fromthe site but still quite nice. The Remont had no restaurant or roomservice facilities and you needed to walk 10mins to restaurants. Giventhe Remont, is really as a superior bandb, it wasn't cheap at £117/night.Did like that there was no eveining meals and no bar and had to walk toget something to eat/drink in the evenings. bed very small and uncomfortable. restorations look attractive but very cheap - not worthy of 4 stars ( i have travelled extensively and feel this is really more of an upmarket bed and breakfast).

Remont is less than 2.3 miles (3.7 km), or a 10-minute bus journey from Oxford city centre. We are also a short walk from the local Summertown shopping parade where a large and varied selection of restaurants, bars and cafes can be found, as well as all your general requirements for a long stay, such as shops, banks and laundrette. We are also situated on the same Banbury Road as the main language schools in Oxford, only a 5-minute bus journey away.

We have a broad selection of room types to suit most requirements. Despite our single, double and twin rooms being designated as standard, they are all more than generous in size and boast all of the above mentioned features.

Some of our more spacious rooms are located in the converted loft area and include a triple room (3 single beds) and family room (double and single bed).

For those who require that something extra, we also have 5 larger superior rooms, 4 of which benefit from bay windows and large contemporary headboards. Super king-size beds with sofa-bed to relax in come as standard in these rooms.
