Location and the guy at reception was fabulous; he gave us loads of local information which was useful when we went out [for a rugby match we got travel directions, for going out for tea we got a map highlighting all the top places to eat and when we went out in the evening he gave us a map with all the best places to go out and also the printed address of the hotel incase we got 'lost']. The staff were very polite and helpful both me and my wife were very impressed . i have stayed a lot of hotels but the attitude of the staff in newcastle was very impressive they made our stay very pleasurable even the manager asked if we had a good night.
all reviews » All of the staff were very friendly, and very helpful when the heating was broke in our room. They got us an electric heater. We were offered another room but prefered to stay where we were. The Restaurant in the Hotel was lovely and the food was great. Cheerful friendly reception staff and very good waitress/waiter service in the morning and the breakfast was extremely good. I liked the way the staff introduced themselves and were very obliging and efficient. An excellent hotel with excellent staff!. the staff at the hotel were really really nice and friendly espesically the reception and resturant staff.made my stay alot easier and comfortable as was on my own. I have not read reviews on your site see second question below. 2pm check in is late if travelling for business. The room was a bit warm but it may have been our fault in regulatingthe controls. The food was awful and the price was upbsurd.
