  Although my stay was only overnight after returning from Belgium via East Midlands Airport, it was long enough to convince me that I had made a good choice for an overnight stay. The Mountsorrel is professionally run by Mike and Hilary and the main thing that strikes you is the cleanliness of the place. Although I had booked for a single room I was put in a double because there was a baby in the room next to me and they were worried - The Mountsorrel is a good guest house which has easy access for both Loughborough & Leicester & nearby countryside. It is well maintained & decorated with most elements a visitor might need. The owners are friendly & helpful. The parking is good too.

It was as we were about to depart that we were offered - First time guests at this hotel and on good b&b deal,so was delighted when we informed reception that there was a slight noise in our first room that they moved us to a newly upgraded suite. It was huge and where still had a few finishing touches to complete,was really comfortable. It was lovely and serene at breakfast,where staff were really friendly and made an omelette for me with no hesitation. The grounds were beautiful. I will definitely consider staying again.

Vegetarians had a wide choice of dishes, which makes a change! the setting - it is a really quaint hotel with large outdoor seating area.
