A beautiful hotel with an imposing entrance. Our bedroom room was spacious and very attractive. The Midland is right in centre. Surrounded by cafes bars and theatres. The hotel was built in 1903 and I understand was recently renovated. All the luxury and comfort of a bygone age but with every modern convience. All the staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. staff were more than helpful; room was fabulous; one of the best hotel experiences; everything was faultless, it certainly lived up to expectations.

I thought the bedrooms were a little small but as we spent little time in the room it was not an issue. The beds weren't the best and it would be better if they had duvets as the clothes kept falling of the bed.Asked concierge to book restaurant checked 3 times couldnt confirm if restaurant was booked in the end went to restaurant ourselves to confirm it had been booked. It would be hard to find any fault with this hotel!. one or two of the staff were not of the same quality. The room was too small for 2 persons.The swimming pool and spa area needs upgrading. unclear instructions given to get to carpark.There was a function going on and even on the fifth floor, the DJ kept us awake until the early hours. parking is a problem.

The property operates a 60-minute booking window for use on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and at busy times. Children swim times apply from 07:30 - 09:00 and 17:30 - 19:00, Monday - Friday, and 07:30 - 09:00 and 17:30 - 18:30, on Saturdays and Sundays. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
