For cheap, budget accomodation with a friendly welcome I don't think you can get any better.The room was sparkling clean, bathroom and shower immaculate and piping hot water.All staff friendly but a mention to Mike who set us up for the day with a brilliant breakfast - cheers Mike. Perfect for any-one going for shopping week-end, gig etc as on bus route. staff were very friendly,the room was very clean,and good value for money.loverly breakfast in the morning too.good bus services to city.

Ideally located for travel into the city centre on public transport.The hotel is in quite a run down area, which is a bit daunting on arrival, but once inside, its basic, but clean and friendly and has everything you need.Also the fact that you can have rooms that sleep 5 or 6 people is great and difficult to find anywhere else. Staff were great really helpful and friendly. It is in a great location for buses and Manchester City Stadium.we got a free upgrade and had two ensuites. Bit basic, no bar and was a fair way out of town only £6 taxi into the centre though. no not at all except i think it would benefit if it was a bed and breakfast. just the location. Could've done with a breakfast!. The location.Area near council estates, shower difficult to regulate, mesh on the window!. No Bar or food facilities. actually the breakfast was until 9 o clock in the morning and that was not so convenient. The room i stayed in smelled of cigarette smoke. Bad area, unpleasent staff during breakfast- they do not even putbread on table, if you do not ask them they will not suggestanything..veri wierd. Paid for bed and full english beakfast...didnt have full english as the chef was on holiday.the fact there is no breakfast. Location was further than expected from Manchester Arena. Too far out of the city centre. No bar or food area. the beds were disgusting i feel dirty since i came home from them i got in the first night and the bed collapsed to one side. poor tv reception. hotel not ready for general public.

Travelling information

By Car:
- Exit the M60 via junction 19.
- Turn onto the A576 (Middleton Road) following the signs for Manchester city centre.
You will pass Sainsbury's on your left hand side as soon as you exit the roundabout.
- Turn left at the 2nd set of lights onto the A6104 (Victoria Avenue).
- Continue up to the main intersection and turn right onto A664 (Rochdale Road).
- Look for the Embassy Club on the right hand side and turn right at the next junction into Harpurhey Road.
- The hotel entrance is the 1st left.
