Malvern Wells 3* star Hotels

We had seen the trip advertised through Travelzoo, a great offer. We were going away for a friends 50th wedding anniversary so we wanted somewhere relaxing, and with the reviews on LetsBookHotel this seemed to fit the bill! We were more than pleasantly surprised, although the reception staff seemed to be a little less than welcoming I think this is more due to no back up from other staff rather than any attitude problem - as I watched I noted two reception staff trying to help two different par - Marcin

I booked this hotel because of it's location, right on the A449 which made it very easy for a business trip that I had to attend. The hotel in well placed with fantastic views of the Malverns on one side and even better views of the sunrise over the east on the other side. My room was large and well equipped with a bottle of the wonderful Malvern Water in my room with Tea and Coffee-making facilities and some nice biscuits on arrival. This hotel has fond memories from childhood where we'd sit outside supping halves of shandy after walks up British Camp, along to Eastnor and back along the ridgeway. It was a surprise when my company booked seven of us in for a night...and I felt a little nervous that my childhood recollections would be disappointed. I stayed at the Cotford for a week long break during the summer with some close friends and had a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived the couple who own the hotel made us feel incredibly welcome. Even their very friendly dog come to greet us! The hotel is a lovely size, a lovely old Victorian House in the centre of Malvern, perfect distance from the town. We wanted to visit the Malvern Hills and found this Hotel perfect. The hills soar up behind the hotel and you can walk there in minutes. The rooms are very comfortable and stylish. The food is excellent and locally sourced. The best thing is the relaxed atmosphere which made our stay just what we needed, not least in the delightfully informal village bar with its wide selection of real ales. - Christine
