  We were surprised how welcoming you both were and helpful Yes we did go and see the old tree and had a great drive threw the forest. I found my old school in Ringwood as we. Thankyou both so much for the welcome and friendlyness towards us. We would come back again and recommend it to anyone.   Everything. We wanted to stay an extra night but they were unfortunately booked up. John and Stephanie were very welcoming, room was lovely and clean and breakfast was excellent. The location is great as the New Forest is across the road but there are Restaurants and pubs within walking distance of the b & B. We would definitely stay there aga... what people say » in and recommend it to our friends. - Terrific B&B right across the road from The New Forest National Park. The bed in our room was one of the best we've ever slept in with beautiful, luxurious bedding. Our hosts John and Stephanie were delightful. I came away with 4 jars of Stephanies wonderful homemade jams that she sells to her jam admiring guests.

Ernesto makes an amazing breakfast (my partner ate the vegetarian option and it was great too as well as the normal full English). Rufus House is great as it is located in the heart of the New Forest and within walking distance of Lyndhurst. It is also ideal to go for - Very accommodating, useful recommendations provided by email in advance of our stay. I had a wonderful one to one yoga/mindful meditation session with Etzuko and even participated in feeding the koy carp. Our room was lovely, overlooking the back garden and benefitted from a mini-fridge. Loved the guest lounge at the top of the turret - I felt like I had my very own "Princess Castle" - it was a very pleasant place to celebrate my 50th birthday.

  friendly staff - The Reception process was excellent and I was quickly settled into my room. The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Car parking was close at hand and CCTV monitored. The Bar area is warm and cosy with an open log fire as an "attraction"

  The hotel staff were always helpful and friendly, they made our stay very pleasant. The room was clean and spacious. Our room also had a very nice bathroom. The breakfast service was also very good. The hotel proved to be in a very good location, with pleasant walks, while close to the amenieties in the centre of lyndhurst. - excellant location, po... what people say » lite and helpfull staff.   The couple who run Lyndhurst House a very nice homely B&B, Peter and Nancy were attentive friendly and helpful. The room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was good with no problem getting what we enjoy eating, There are a few eateries and a small supermarket close by. We enjoyed or stay there and would recommend it, we would definitely conside... what people say » r staying there again were we back in the area. - our room was very nice with plenty of space large ensuite good facilities and was very clean the bed was comfortable the breakfast is good and hearty to set you up for the day nice and hot with a choice of breakfast times peter and Nancy are great host's nothing was to much trouble we are going back again we would highly recommend Lyndhurst House

  From the moment we stepped into the hotel to the time we left the staff were amazing: friendly, welcoming, efficient and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. A lovely large room with a pair of comfy chairs. A large TV, tea, coffee, biscuits; shower with fresh towels as required, and good toiletries... what people say » . There was some noise from the street, as on the second floor was not that bad. As listed premises they are not permitted to change the windows and - The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size. I had an evening meal in the pub which was good value. The poub has a lot to offer but I was the only guest on that particular night. Also only another couple in the bar. The pub decor is good and inviting. The manager was saying that weekends get busy but mid week is slow. Also extremely busy in the summer season. I would certainly stay again

  It was a nice surprise to find that it was actually an historic building - assumed a concrete block as I didn't see the pictures beforehand - I liked the warm friendly atmosphere. The option of room service. The paper service in the morning. Just everything about the hotel!!!!
