We were upgraded free to the Tennyson suite which was fabulous. It was a
very large room with 42'' tv, comfortable settee and arm chair
and tasteful decor. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The bar
was comfortable and convivial, we enjoyed a well-cooked meal in the
restaurant and a cooked to order breakfast the next morning. I would
certainly stay again if in the area and have recommended it to my

The owners were there to welcome us when we arrived .. Even though it was quite late at night ... We were able to have a drink at the bar before going to bed ... Lovely rooms .. Nice touch including tea & coffee facilities in the room ... We only stayed the one night and were up and out very early the next morning ..
We only slept in the room so didn't have time to use any other facilities however the lady that let us in in the evening was lovely. She already had our key waiting for us when she let us in. The rooms were clean. The hotel seemed quiet and it wasn't too far from the city centre. Would definitely stay here again.
Both manager and staff were very friendly and efficient. The WiFi was excellent and small details like providing generous quantities of tea, coffee and milk had been attended to. The breakfast was as good as any of the big names provide. Bathrooms were large and showers powerful. The atmosphere was relaxed.
Very good room, quite compact but smartly decorated and very clean. Excellent staff - I was late arriving and the lady on reception phoned up to make sure I could get in after reception closed and hung around for me to arrive. Breakfast was superb. Great spot for Cadwell Park - only a 10 min drive away.
I went with a lady friend just for a break. The hotel was one of the best we have stayed in. The owner was friendly and the sraff very helpful. The meal we had in the evening was cooked by the owner and it was very very good. The hotel was quiet in the night so we could get a goods night sleep.
Perfect overnight stay for business. Single room very clean and comfortable. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent. 2nd time I've stayed and I heard the chef whistling and singing both times. Happy Staff=Happy Service. Cannot fault this for the price.
I have stayed in many hotels around Louth visiting relatives and this was by far the best. Nothing was too much bother for the staff, the owner was friendly, it was clean, lovely lounge area, spacious and would have no hesitation in returning.
The accommodation was handy for Louth on foot, the hotel was spot on with good accommodation excellent breakfast and a friendly welcome and there is a nice bar and dining room, if you fancy some fresh air there is also a nice garden/patio area.

Only a short stay as a stop off to break our trip but found the hotel to be exceptionally clean and the staff really pleasant, although we only met two as it was very quiet. The breakfast was ample and good value for money.

Excellent welcome, very accommodating staff. We booked two single rooms which were clean and comfortable. Easy access to WIFI. Great breakfasts. Will now use this as a base when I am in area.

Proprietor apologised for having to give me one of her smallest rooms. It was less than luxurious but still comfortable, clean and perfectly adequate.

The only down side was the room was very cold.
Bed was too small but that was my fault as I asked for a singal bed not a dubble bed.
