lovely hotel great staff definately stay again. Rooms, resturant and internet. Excellent room and food. From my experience this is an excellent hotel. Staff friendly and helpful, food of a high standard, room comfortable. I was there on business but would definitely also visit on a leisure break.The rooms were large and very comfortable, with an excellent restaurant that had a massive range of good food options at a very reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. From arriving to leaving everything was brilliant, room was fantastic and evening meal was reasonably priced and delicious. Would deffinately come back here. . Great food and nice atmosphere. Well decorated room, no chintz. The standard of hotel was exceptionally good for the price. But the hotel staff went out of their way (though unsuccessfully) to put us in a quieter room.Even being very critical I can't think of anything.....it rained a bit?!. Portion size at dinner was miserly. Bathroom and showerhead could have been cleaner. There was no toilet roll holder, towels were taken and not replaced until you asked for them at reception. It was far too hot in the rooms and the radiators would not turn off. Gold stars all over the place from previous wedding presumably. Only one set of towels. Breakfast was appalling. The bacon was very very fatty, not a great deal of choice either. The alcoholic drinks were way over priced. Nice hotel, very expensive stay.Maintenance work until quite late, although the staff did warn me about this.
