    Mo at the reception is a really nice guy. We arrived early and he still made sure our room was available for us ASAP. We had a double room which was very nice and clean. The hostel had a lift which was amazing after spending a lot of time lugging bags up many flights of stairs. There is a bus stop out the front of the hostel which takes you strai... what people say » ght to Waterloo station (by the London eye and Southbank). Takes 20minutes and it is also a 5 min walk to the closest train station. The hostel was qu - The staff was incrediblly nice, everyone was very helpful and polite. There are bus stops in front of the building, the Rotherhithe underground station less than 10 minutes away, it's located in a residential zone so it's a very quiet and safe place. I had previously read a review that said it was scary to walk from the underground station to the hostel, but let me tell you even though it's mostly a desserted area at the late hours of night, it's very safe, so don't worry about that.     A really superb location, decent but cheap breakfast, really clean and appears well managed. I would definitely recommend it to others if you are not hoping for anything too fancy. Bed was already made which is unusual for a hostel. - Liked everything!     First stay in a hostel and found it welcoming by both staff and other guests. They even extended my stay and changed my bed to a lower one straight away. The higher bunks are tricky to get in without ladders Waking in the park everyday and walking around the grounds and gardens was beautiful. Basic accomodation but great facilities, comfortable b... what people say » eds and warm even with the windows open. Lockers were very large and staff stored my guitar in the office I was worried about leaving around. Would b - More relaxed than many other hostels, a nice setting in the grounds of Holland Park and the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very good value and an evening meal is also offered.. a very good self catering kitchen also!

    Unforgettable fabulous stay in London Thanks to letsbookhotel.com, I have been fortunate enough to stay at The Hotel Strand Continental for an affordable price, during my recent trip to London. The Hotel Strand Continental is located at a privileged point, in London’s west end; 2 steps far from King’s College London, very near from The River Thame... what people say » s through Waterloo Bridge, in addition to some of the most important sightseeing attractions such as the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye, Sa - Location! Right next to Somerset House. 5 min walk to Temple underground tube. No frills but no unexpected nasty bits. Tea/coffee in room, towels provided, there was clean bedding. Breakfast was good, cereal, toast, juice and tea and coffee as much as you'd like. There was stairs but we didn't mind. We arrived at 10am and our room had already been cleaned so we were told to go straight in. Lovely. Would stay here again

    i liked that the beds were comfortable and the fellow guests were reasonably considerate. i liked the fact that i was not treated as just another number and was able to book in my valuables for safekeeping and build a relationship with the reception throughout my stay - The position was great, I never felt threatened in the area.
