London Hotels

We have just returned from this hotel after spending one night here. The staff were really helpful, polite, couldnt fault them. The hotel itself was spotless. We asked for a quiet, non smoking room and that was exactly what we got. Room was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was buffet style and had everything inc full english, croissants, every kind of fruit juice and endless tea and coffee. Would definately stay here again, excellent, excellent. - Elaine

We stayed in a Garden Room on the ninth floor for seven nights. The room overlooked Kensington Gardens and had views towards the London Eye and the Gherkin. The Room was of a very high standard including a very comfortable King sized bed, large TV screen, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar and all the essential electronic gadgetry. The en-suite was roomy and had quality toiletries and lovely large fluffy bath towels. The heated towel rack was a bonus. We appreciated the fruit platte - Michael

An Affordable Gem in Expensive London - Carolyn

This hotel totally lived up to its reviews. We stayed for four nights and then came back for two more on another leg of our trip. The first time they upgraded us to a suite and the room was large and the bathroom was spectacular. The second room was quite nice and spacious though the bathroom was small but nice. The service was excellent, the place was spotless and we loved the location. It was really close to tube stations and the restaurants in the neighborhood were wonderful. The price was re - Claire

I have stayed in many London Hotels but am now set on the Commodore. This little hotel really does offer a lot. You are next to great places to eat, Hyde Park, and three tube stops less than 5 minutes walk, not to mention the Heathrow Express and Paddington in ten minutes walk. The rooms are fine, bathroom spotless, and service excellent. The area is very safe, and really nice to have a walk around. One of the nicest parts of London to base yourself and then take the tube everywhere. - Pauline

This hotel has consistently good service. We stayed in a "business friendly" room, which was spacious, comfortable and quiet. It also included the excellent breakfast buffet which we have come to enjoy at the hotel. The standard rooms do not include breakfast, but there are many restaurants and take-out places close by (or you can always pay for breakfast in the dining room). STAFF, HEATING - GEORGIA

Have just come back from weekend in London and found the hotel great, we had three bedrooms and all were of a very high quality, beds extremely comfortable. En suites were spotless, with loads of lovely soft towels. The staff were extremely helpful - particular mention to the concierge who was so kind when three of our party could not fly home due to illness - he booked the ferry for them - above and beyond the call of duty, especially as we had booked out a number of hours earlier. I really cannot say anything bad about this hotel, my wife and 1yr old daughter had a great 2 night stay here. We were on the 7th floor so had great views over London, we had a very agreeable breakfast and a lovely dinner in the 'George Pub'. With secure underground parking and a tube station 5 mins walk you really cant go wrong. The only small irriation was in the morning we had to wait for ever for a lift, so plan ahead and one of you go press the button!!! - Julie

I booked the hotel direct after surfing the net looking for a budget hotel for a city break from me, mum and daughter. On reading the other reviews I was really concerned what I was going to. However, the location is second to none - 2 minute walk from Paddington Station. On entering the hotel we were pleased. We asked to see our room prior to checking in. Our room was on the 5th floor.
