We loved the size of the rooms and the fact that it was a suite set up, as this made it easy for our young son to go to bed before us. The free water, starbucks coffee and lovely toiletries were an added bonus. Choice of pillows alos excellent and superb beds for comfort. Wonderful setting, out of the hustle and bustle and having drinks on the terrace was lovely. We didnt want to come home!

The location of the hotel is great. It has a lovely relaxing and welcoming feeling to the hotel. The staff are very well trained and always pleasent and helpful. The bar of the hotel has a lovely atmosphere and is very popular which I have found in other hotels we have stopped in, not to be the case.

The room was lush! A very enjoyable stay.

The hotel is about a 15 minute walk tot he nearest tube station, which can be a hassle when the heavens decide to open!

Too far from the Tube station to walk. Had to take taxis all the time. These were easily available.

The facilities, such as the pool and spa were outstanding. The staff were friendly. The spacious layout of the room. It made for a pleasant stay.

The ridiculous price of the wifi connection. 24 pounds per day is ludicrous and must be addressed. With the amount of money paid to stay at an exclusive hotel, the wifi should be free. Even Starbucks offers free wifi connection! Same said for the laundry and room service.

Very good particularly if travelling with a child, as all rooms are suites. Good value thanks to bookings.com.

I foud the hotel staff slow in doing what asked (make up the room on a couple of occasions and our daughetr's bed was not ready when we arrived) - bearing in mind it is a 5 star hotel.

Beautiful rooms

The reception staff was untrained . didnt advise about you have to use the key to lift etc. When booking I ran the hotel and advised them that we would require dinner. When we arrived we were told by the reception that there was not a table available. I insisted that we were able to eat. We had three children and the service was very late and slow

Even though I was only there for one night Hotel staff were constantly ringing the door bell than just barging in without waiting. I couldn't get any peace and quite. At breakfast they tried to bully my wife into taking their higher priced breakfast, rather than the a la carte which she wanted. When we ordered toast they forgot to bring butter and I had to ask three times , just not good enough.

suite was tastefully decorated, large and bed was very comfortable. we found the reception staff and concierge helpful and businesslike. the wyndham grand chelsea is set in a quiet suburb. The boats in the harbour and view up the river is interesting. we liked to have use of the gym and pool. the tea bags and milk were never replenished in complimentary drink tray though.

when we arrived the top sheet and the bed cover were both dirty. There was something unpleasant on a wall tile down beside the en-suite toilet and it was there for the three nights we were in the room. The shower though powerful and easy to set sadly did not drain so you were quickly standing three inches of water (not pleasant). no help offered in leisure facility to work machinery. (no room!)
