large spacious modern rooms. very comfortable. gym was reasonably well equipped (as per photos). Interesting food in the restaurant.

main negative is location, as it is in the east end. the surrounding area looks run down but actually lots of people walking around, even at night. need to get transport to the tourist areas, but this is reasonably easy with a tube stop not too far away.

We had a lovely stay in Town Hall Hotel. The apartment (sitting room, kitchen and two bedrooms) was a wonderful surprise. It felt like stepping into the fifties, but with all modern amenities. Very friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is situated very close to Bethel Green underground station (Central Line). Many restaurants are in the neighborhood.

Loved the Art deco furniture in the 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in. The Kitchen was really well equipped with added extra's that make the difference like a good coffee machine and coffee and lots of free bottled water in the fridge. Staff were very helpful both before and during our stay and the location is only 1 stop from Liverpool street station so close to great markets and restaurants. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this hotel to a friend.

It's very convenient for us visiting our daughter, who lives nearby. The guest relations manager (Andrea) was fantastically helpful. The bar staff were universally pleasant & helpful.

The racket in The Corner Room for evening meal. It must be the hard surfaces, & when it was full it was cacophonous!

Liked most everything, staff and the whole style/decor are just great. A pleasure to be there.

Corneroom 'walk-in' restaurant had a sort of new world tapas menu. This did not suit the conventional eaters in our group. Car parking can be awkward and potentially unsafe if left in local roads.

The des Design of the place (Art Deco); close proximity to the city (Central Tube Line)

The area (Bethnal Green). The bathroom is designed in such a way that the shower unfortunately splashes all over the show - the whole floor gets wet. Need to look into alternatives there.

I loved the design, it's presentation and the fact that your extremely attentive staff all seemed very aware of it and were genuinly proud to work there. The location is perfect for travel in and out of town at any hour.

Hard to fault, except for the dangerous metal electrical covers in the floors. The are 2 in G15 that are stuck open and that will cost you a lot of money in compensation should an unfortunate guest cut open their toe/foot. Ouch!

we stayed here for 10 days over three weeks - no-one seemed to note this, poor communication. The tariff went up for our second stay so quite pricey.

From the minute we arrived we felt that wow factor. The staff treated us like VIP's and were so accommodating and friendly. Service was quick and always with a big smile. On seeing our room we were like a group of kids at Christmas. It was amazing!! We all wanted to live there. Kitchen facilities are great and the milk etc left for us an added bonus. Loccitane products in the bathroom a great touch. We didn't get to use the cocktail tea lady but will make sure we do next time. The pool looks lovely. We will definitely be back. Great value for money and right next to the central line for getting around London.

The staff were very professional and helpful. The room was very nice. The beds, furniture, accessories were 1st class.

The lobby of the hotel seemed dark and old. I felt like I was walking into an old government building. It didn't match the cleanliness and sophistication of the guest rooms - which were very nice.

I loved the fact that I did enjoy, on my request, a specific room which actually was an upgrade (and I didn't know that at first) for the same price. The cleanliness and the simple but highly designed decor made me feel like at home straight away. The plus is about the staff who answered my e-mails very quickly, nicely and clearly. They introduced us to their restaurants, which we didn't try because of different plans but it looked absolutely tempting. And indeed, we will go back to try it. I do recommend this hotel, definitely.

Well...if I have to find something wrong... that would probably be the area, I was expecting a "posh" looking area and it might be. At least, it's certainly very trendy and if you're a Street Art amateur such as we are, you'll be amazed by Brick Lane and around.. what about terrible stories? A "Jack the Ripper" walk can also be organised if you plan it in advance. ;)

We loved the clean, comfortable room in the beautiful, repurposed town hall. Location to the Underground was not a long walk and easy to access other tourist attractions through the public transport.

We wished the breakfast had not been so expensive, but that is part of traveling in a big city.

It's a bit hard to find things in the area, which is variable. You need to hunt down bars restaurants etc and sometimes they are well hidden.

- Our 2-room apartment was very spacious. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms allowed our travelling party of 4 to stay comfortably. The living and dining area provided us with ample space to congregate, have meals, chill out and even to carry out some basic housekeeping. - The interior of the apartment was spotless and pleasing. We liked that the floors were not carpeted and that every room was well-lit and well-ventilated. - The apartment came stocked with every modern household amenity and facility that one would require for a short-, or even long-, term stay. The washing machine and dryer, coffee maker (with excellent complimentary coffee), microwave oven, dishwasher etc. gave us the trappings of home. - The service at the hotel is impeccable. We loved that the hotel makes an effort to deliver a selection of freshly baked macarons door-to-door on a daily basis (and should one fail to answer the door, one will find a plate of these treats in the room at the end of a weary day). Complimentary bottles of still and sparkling water and milk were readily available and complimentary (and excellent) coffee and tea sachets were restocked every day. When one of my family members fell ill, the hotel very promptly called a doctor and repeatedly checked in with us to see if we were holding up well; well-wishes and hugs flowed freely thereafter. We felt thoroughly spoilt by the warmth and attention to detail.

- We drove and found parking space outside the hotel very limited. The alternative is to park at a private garage about 10 minutes away from the hotel for about GBP10 per day. - Despite the hotel being conveniently located at a 5-7 minute walk from the Bethnal Green tube station, it still takes some time to get to the city centre via the London Underground. - The hotel gym and pool are small.

The staff make the place. And after that everything is just as good. Brilliant and beautifully furnished public areas. A sense of space I've seldom enjoyed at this price level. Unbelievable food (only ate at The Corner Room but...) and stunningly comfortable, spacious and well designed rooms/apartments. Didn't get to try the pool/gym but was told it was just as splendid as the rest. Am already booking my next two stays.

The room was fantastic with 2 separate bedrooms & each had it's own bathroom. There was a more than adequate kitchen area with every utility needed including a washing machine for longer stays.

The swimming pool was really cold. We complained about it but was told it was the right temparature. Unfortunately the staff at the hotel did not experience my 4 year old son sitting on the side dithering & his teeth chattering. It was even colder the next day...?

Amazing Hotel with polite friendly staff and great for ease by either tube or overground train being close by (within) 400 yards. We took our 2 year old girl and she loved it. Would recommend this to any friends or family. Amazing value and with 5 Star Hotels would not disagree.

Wonderful rooms, bathroom with beautiful tub, very friendly and helpful staff, and the best gourmet room service /breakfast you can imagine. Did I mention the swimming pool long enough to enjoy doing a few laps...

Location is a little out but as the Bethnall Green tube is on the Central Line this doesn't matter as you are into Oxford St in 15 minutes. Actually being outside town means you smell the fresh air too...

The staff were all friendly & very helpful.The bed was extremely comfortably, with a beautiful goose down quilt. It was near the tube and train stations and bus stops to central London. The apartment was very well equipped. Wish I had booked for longer. Would have liked to spend more time in Victoria Park.

There is not much of a view, but as this is the East End of London, I did not expect one. The designer did try to camouflage this with a very nice metal screen. We could see out but when outside the hotel you could not see in.
