The Thistle Royal Horseguards was excellent value for money. It was extremely central to everything in London. All the main attractions are just a few minutes walk away. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. Very impressed and would highly recommend to others.

Well-appointed room.

I carried my case from home ,on to the train, off the train ,across london to the hotel - i don't need to have my case carried 10 yards acroess the foyer and up to my room !

Loved everything. Room was lovely, bed very comfy, decor fantastic, two nice recliner chairs (nice touch), heated floor in bathroom. Very quiet location. Beautiful building. Breakfast had the most choice I have ever encountered in a hotel.

Only the fact that inconsiderate neighbours did not use the door handles.

The Hotel appears to have been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Ideal location for visiting the Theatre area and Victoria Embankment

Expecptioonal staff; friendly, helpful, very professional. the breakfast was very good, plentiful selection, excellent waite staff

The water was warm enough for a shower but never hot enough to draw a bath. Hotel responded well but could not overcome engineering challange. Inside room was a bit gloomy in spite of interior lighting. Perhaps some addtional light in the air shaft.

The convenience of being able to walk everywhere. The hotel is very conveniently placed for most of the things I want to do, it is also only across the river to where my family live. I have stayed at 'The Royal Horseguards' before and it is my favourite. The hotels interiors have been much improved since my last stay.

One person was miserable and short with me when I wanted to post a letter, it was as if he was irritated by my request. No smile, just took the letter and carried on fiddling behind the desk. Everyone else was very professional, helpful and pleasant. I dont expect people to fall over me, but I do expect them to be pleasant as I am to them. One person can spoil the reputation.
