The room was delightful - much larger than I expected and certainly large by London standards. Also it was airy and bright and very well fitted out. The bed was comfortable and the bedding and towels were very high quality. The hotel was beautiful, the room was immaculate but most of all, the staff were just the best. They did more than was expected of them and they genuinely seemed interested in your day. It was a pleasure staying there.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.I do wish they would provide coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms. mediocre breakfast for a hotel of such otherwise good quality. Breakfast was disappointing. I know they don't have an onsite kitchen but cold scrambled eggs and beans really aren't appetising. I would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room.Hard pillows. They would put me off staying again.I know others like hard pillows so I am only talking my personal taste. Also down doonas would have been much nicer. I stayed in a Paris three star hotel before the Summer and they had down pillows and doonas.It was the best three star hotel I had ever stayed in. breakfast. The lack of shower cap etc in the bathroom which had to be requested. some more snacks for room service. No Pay TV. Not enough sports channels.The bed was too hard. The staff were a bit cold, not the most warming welcome, etc. They were efficient though, but quiet.rooms are a little less nice than the entrance hall and it is a little noisy (but it's a detail, even to me). Breakfeast only start at 8 am; noice from ajacent rooms. Small room. There is no gym.One sole waitress trying hard (but failing) to replenish a fairly thin breakfast buffet (at one stage no yoghurt, no bread, no scrambled egg and no orange juice available).
