convienence to Oxford street and tube

The cost of breakfast-went to wetherspoons round the corner. Did not like being moved from hotel of choice on one side of the road to another on the opposite side of the road as an "upgrade" seemed small room for upgrade- how would we know if it actually was better "upgrade" than our original expensive pre-booked room! Staff a bit OTT on arrival we felt bombarded.

We were suprised when we arrived because they told us we were actually going to stay at their 'other' hotel across the street. Turns out it was a nice hotel. They called it an upgrade but since we never saw the Marble Arch Hotel, we cannot say.

Didn't like that we had this surprise. Fortunately it was just across the street, so it was ok but it could have been a problem. It all worked out but was a shock.

very helpfull staff with a smile , my first day room was very narrow and they change it for more comfertable room next day, close to shopping in Oxford Street ,Marble Arch underground station and HydePark

The bed Mattress is really not comfortable at all. Everything else is good but not having a good night sleep because of the bed mattress is a major issue

The location and the service was superb.

It wasn't sound proof. Lots of loud bangs from doors slamming and you could hear every car that drove past at night.

The best point is the location and the brand new lines. The weakest point is the size of the room (too small).

Basement room - stuffy and smells in corridor maybe from spa which should be pointed out when arriving. Room safe broken. Bar unavailable to guests in the evening due to business convention - this is unacceptable. Room didn't quite match the website pictures.

The location was superb,right next to Oxford street. Club Double was a nice room,not the biggest but well designed and very comfortable!

They do not have a Hotel bar or nice lobby!

Underground room no windows no fresh air no light no facilities in the hotel letsbookhotel.com web showed that the price includes breakfast but during the ordering process it was stated that it does not.

This feed back is on Montcalm Hotel as we were upgraded from the sister hotel Marble Arch. Good & friendly front office staff. Excellent location to Oxford street & many eateries are nearby & tube station is a mere 3 minutes away. Will certainly recommend to anyone.

The double room is a bit small for two person. Fortunately, we are out most of the time.

The staff was really nice and helpful. They gave us a great room the second night we were there. They were helpful with the luggage, nice all around.

Room 523. Do not accept it. It has a tiny window and is next to the elevators and I felt like I was in a cupboard. It gave me claustrophobia. The bed was nice and the bathroom too but the space was too closed. The service in the restaurant was inattentive and inefficient. The breakfast itself was nice.

I arrived at 20:00 on 12/02/2013. I was given a room in the basement. Although it was a comfortable room it was in the basement. It was cold (the member of staff that guided me to my room accepted it was cold). Being in the basement I had poor mobile telephony signal, thus it was difficult to call my business. Last but not least the washbasin was clogged. The following day I asked members of staff to change the room and they guided me to another room on the 3rd floor.

On arrival we were told that we had been upgraded to a club room in their sister hotel the "Mountcalm" that is located across the road. All the staff where very friendly and helpful. The room was modern and stylishly decorated with a super king sized bed. The location is perfect for Oxford street, Hyde park and the tube.

Breakfast was a little over priced.
