I have stayed four nights in the 8 dorm room which is not very large but cozy,the linen are professionally cleaned and the bed was so comfy. Samir, the manager was very nice and helpful looking after my values in the reception. The location is fantastic just one minute far to the Earl's Court underground station. The value for money of this hostel is unbeatable. I met very interesting people in there and the common kitchen room if not very large was perfect to have breakfast and talk to other t.
all reviews » The guys from the reception are really nice, very friendly and helpful. The beds and bedsheets are clean and there are lockers for everyone in the bedroom. Only one person uses the bathroom at a time, which is good. Very, very close to Earls Court tube station, very handy if you arrive at Heathrow because you don't even have to change the line at the tube - Piccadilly line serves both. Location, it was only a few minutes away from the Earls Court venue where my friend and I could geek out all day long at LFCC. And there was a pub directly across the road :) Plenty of choice of where to eat within a minute or so, and the underground station was just up the road. Staff we always friendly. The hostel is close to the tube, 2 min walking. This is also in very good location, with a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. It is very clean and the staffs are very friendly. It is very cheap and good for the price, even the breakfast. I will stay there again, next time I go to London. Reasonable for the price. Nice and small so not too many crazy teenagers running around. Pretty clean for hostel. Excellent location. Very good area to stay in and close to main city. Even though I booked a bed in a mixed bedroom, the receptionist upgraded it and gave me a bed in an all girls room with less people in it. I dont think i can find a cheap place to stay in a city like London with out The Court Hostel. Loved the people who worked there, helped me borrow a charger free and was really helpful in every way. Very caring and compassionate people wjo worked there. Never had any problems with dumb young tourists like other hostels. The location is perfect, its in the middle of Zizzy and Nandos, a good italian and a superb portugese chicken restaurant. You can take the bus to south hall n green street from the hotel location and the tube is just two minutes away. Wicked place all in all. I stayed at this hotel for three days. The location was really nice. From king cross underground station to hotel it took just 3 minutes. It was so convenient. And this room price included breakfast. It was good point! They try, and it's not horrible, but there could be some more - especially during the morning and late evening. I am not the longest guy in the world but i train a lot, but even then i have never been too big for beds at any other hotel or hostel. The double beds this hostel has are way too small in length and specially width. I am 176 and it was too small for me and i use Large in clothing. Sometimes i could feel the springs also. My room was 3rd floor, there was not elevator. I had a big baggage... So it was hard for me. And room is very small and old... First, I don't like to pay for something you tell me when I book a room then the reality is different. I paid to stay in a FIVE bed dormitory. There were, in fact, SIX beds. When I asked a member of staff why 6 beds and not 5 he explained that the other was only spare in case a bed break or something like that. However, on my third night there ALL THE SIX beds were occupied!!! Second, ceiling in the bathrooms are covered by smelly mold. bathrooms aren't clean, neither are the rooms and other parts. everything is old and worn out, not much space as well. - Bathrooms could be cleaner - if you want to check out and leave the luggage, they'll charge you 2 GBP. The rooms and general decor could do with a spruce up. Carpets were a bit threadbare in places, mould in the shower room. Although I realise this is reflected in the price. room 19 dripping/plumbing noise at nite in my room made it hard to sleep. electric heater plug socket was broken and an electrocution risk. mould on the ceiling of the showers. Not enough showers. 2 showers shared between several floors of dorms. Lockers in rooms, but not much use as broken locks. Our room had a window boarded up with wood. Noisy bed, far from city centre, stairs are narrow. lockers in room were not working, wifi was out quite a lot. Small kitchen, dirty bathrooms/toilets.
