Good location near tube. Comfortable and refined hotel. wonderful hotel, room perfect and bathroom also. Very nice area. Very nice staff. It is always comfortable and has very easy access to the centre of the City but is quiet and with good restaurants within walking distance. The decor is very agreeable, as is the service, even at odd hours.Love the ornate decor and cozy rooms.
all reviews » room. The staff were excellent and the food arrangements, which I thought would be unhelpful, in fact worked very well indeed. Was only there for one night but the room was lovely with all the extra touches of a luxury hotel. Handy location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Hotel cat Minnie is cool. The location, the building, the size of the hotel and the decoration. Location and surroundings. they did block 900 € on my credit card as guarantee (without explaining) and it take 5 days to release it ! so i couldn't pay them cause the limit of my credit card... so i had to give them all the cash i saved for my last day 'shopping' with my money blokked on my card. So i coudn't buy anything. That was rreally bad !. I have experinced problems with hot water for the bath on 2 occasions. This has been rectified the following day. It has not put me off returning on many occasions. I found the bathroom in my room a little small.Room and bathroom were small and I should want larger were I to stay there again. As in many hotels, the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work and the central heating arrangements were rudimentary but I didn't need them as the temperature was comfortable without.. The staff were not over friendly which is maybe harsh as we arrived late and left early. Elevator was broken and walking to 4th floor was a pain. Would have been impossible for an elderly person. Internet access was very expensive and almost completely useless. I asked for two morning wake-up calls and got neither. This hotel, where I have stayed numerous times in the past, is starting to seem a little frayed at the seams and is in need of an upgrade. I booked a studio-suite and what I got had little or nothing to do with the pictures in the site. Central heating in my room was not working. There was an air conditioning machine which does not work well and it is very noisy (I learned that other rooms had central heating). I stayed 2 nights and the cleaning of the room was far from good (litters were not emptied and the floor was not cleaned).1st room too small and up in the attick! second room ok although still small and very expensive!!!!.
