I read the reviews on Trip Advisor before going and was worried I was going to be staying in some kind of slum! It was ok though, you get what you pay for?! It wasnt dirty at all, a bit rough round the edges but what do you expect! Camden Inn is in a brilliant location, we were just there for 1 night as we were going out in Camden for the night and it was perfect, 5-10 mins walk max from the tube and all the bars we were going to.

Cute rooms that were just perfect for camping down each night; the showers do get pretty hot, but hey, better than it being too cold! Also, Camden is a super cool part of London; definitely check the area out! And really close to the Underground, so the rest of London is at your disposal. :). I have never seen any thing negative through my stay for two dayes , Lovely staff, clean , polite and very respect with me . Friendly, helpful, short walk to Camden tube station, clean, communal kitchen, lockers in room, modern, clean shower cubicle. Quiet area. Reception printed out a map for me and went out of their way to help me. As a city hostel I would definitely use again. The people were very nice, including staff and other tenants. although sometimes I didn't like the manager very much. For the price that I payed, I think Smart Camden Inn is a good deal. You have a breakfast and a bed to sleep, with 24 hours access. worth every bit of it, if you are on a serious budget. best part, if you come well prepared with spices, you will be able to good great meals (with smashing cheap food) while in london, in the hostel´s well equipped kitchen. This was my second stay there this year in a room with bathroom. It was clean as the first time. I love the conform, proximity to the tube (metro) and supermarkets. I checked out at 0400 one day and there was no problem. Location good if you're visiting Camden, close to transport links and within walkable distance from euston and kings cross. Cheap, basic place to sleep. Don't expect the ritz and you won't be disappointed. Location in Camden town and just mins to Saint Pancras Stn by bus outside the hostel and also a few mins on foot to Camden Metro Stn. Relatively 'cheaper' than other places in London Zone 2 esp for a family of 5 but with quite a trade-off, this being more suited for backpackers. This isn't something I *didn't like* persay, but just something to keep in mind: there is a 10-pound deposit (cash only) for the sheets (but as long as you turn them in when you check out, you'll get your money back). none. Small dorm but for the money I can't complain! My 3 other room mates were pleasant and courteous. Sheets were cotton and freshly laundered but pillow cover was disposable.but at least new. As a city hostel I would definitely use again. Some showers (those in the ground floors) didn't allow to choose temperature, and the water was very hot.nothing. we had really heavy bags and a man from reseption refuse to help us :C, but I believe it's not as bad because our heavy bags is our own fault). 1 toilet too each level. Should have a seperate door for the toilet, and another for the shower. So as anyone wishing to use the toilet, can do so, while someone else is using the shower. Apart from this, very good set up !. Lockers were not included in the price, light sensor in the bathroom too quickly shut down. And those steep stairs - you had to be very careful that one does not fall.nothing. nothing. The beds are in a narrow dormitory and the air in the room is not easy to commute outwards. nothing. Breakfast at 7:30 am, so if you leave earlier, you can't get it :). small and humid rooms. room too small. The kitchen and tv room were a bit small for so many people.nothing. Nothing. small room 6 beds should of been 4. My first night was incredibly noisy, with a group of foreign guests talking extremely loudly until 3am. But I guess that's the deal in hostels. The rooms are extremely small. There seemed to be somebody sleeping in the kitchen one night. The usual "do you have cash? It's easier..." situation. Still considered quite expensive though one may justify its price as being in heart of London. Breakfast quite bare, spaces really cramp, so make sure no large suitcases! If payment by card, they add another 3%! Also require £10 deposit for bed sheets!. Furniture is clean but very poor, also the bathroom Poor breakfast. The beds were not that comfortable. The noise due to building design, and being open 24 hours was awfully disruptive if you were trying to get a good nights sleep. Steep steps to the entrance which I felt was not ideal, as most people had suitcases to carry up them. The bedroom I was in was very cramped. 6 beds, and simply not enough floor space for everyone. More power points would be better, I feel, as there was only 2 for a 6 bedroom room. too noisy - people, doors, reception, you could hear everything. Simple breakfast but dirty kitchen fuxking so hot water for bathing, horrible, u cannot choose to add some cold water, and only one button to press, time is short for water dispense. space. - safety locker and towels were not included in the package. all these come with extra costs. Rooms are tiny. Beds sre squeeky and uncomfortable. Shower is awkward. Room is cold at night. The guy behind reception at night time was really slow and pretty ignorant. Breakfast was literally just a small bowl of cheap cereal. Stupid 10 pound deposit for bedsheets! And it's not mentioned on the site! Also they'll charge you 3% for the use of c.card - also not mentioned. Tiny shower. the shower head pressure was barely there so could not shower properly. 6 bed dorm room was so small, hardly any place to put your backpacks. Staff was a bit rough and said they will accept only cash payment and asked me to pay more - deposit which was not mentioned in their policy. Also, there was no control over the temperature on the shower and you have to be careful not to burn your body while on shower. I think it is ridicilous to charge people for safes in a hostel (1,5 quid per night). Bear in mind you have to pay 10 pounds of deposit for the sheets (haha). Probably the worst conditions, I've ever seen. Walls coming off, moldings on the wall, dirty shower and bathroom, rooms, kitchen and communal area smelling weird. I would advise anyone to stay in this hostel. No confortable place. services recption to stric. Bed very small, Im 191cm and didnt fit into the bed.. I have seen a mouse in my room. It was a disturbing experience. Rooms were way to hot and way to noisy could not sleep with main rd right outside window breakfast was poor. Breakfast!!. Stupid 10 pound deposit for bedsheets! And it's not mentioned on the site! Also they'll charge you 3% for the use of C.card - also not mentioned. Tiny shower. Staff rudeness Dirty Too small.
