We had an awful room at first, then we complained and got the most amazing room with the most amazing safilities. I was disapointed that we got one of the old flowery rooms and not the contempory one we asked for. however the staf were really polite and excelent. always at your call.

The fact the first room was horrible, and not as we saw on the website. if we did not complain then we would of had to stay in that horrid room

stones throw from the palace - truly in the heart of london. the rooms, the staff, the dining - everything was absolutely perfect. they have a sister hotel that is literally down the street, it is more expensive and a perhaps a little more grand - but everything is 'modernized' with a blackandwhite motif ... and that hotel uses the restaurants at the rubens for their special packages.

From the moment we arrived at the Hotel to the minute that we left, we were treated like the most important people in the establishment. All the staff were polite, helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay at the Rubens again, our room was recently refurbished and was in excellent condition. The room service was impressive and the food the best I've ever tasted in a hotel.

Dinner in the restaurant was somewhat spoiled by over keen staff asking if the food was OK. once per course is enough!!!!

What a lovely hotel and such nice people who work there! We loved ourroom (Royal Wing, Prince Regent) we very much appreciated the serviceand kindness. Breakfast was good, great shower, service was all around!Normally we go to another hotel every year, this is the first time I'mconsidering going back to the same hotel.

Upon arrival the reception was excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful. The location of the hotel was also very good and the room was first class and extremely comfortable. i was very impressed with everything.

The entire staff was very friendly. The location was close to manyattractions and the "underground" the boutique hotel was very clean andlovely with flat screen tvs. Each room was decorated differently

We liked the decor, modern mixed with interesting antique pictures and ornaments. We thought the staff were all wonderful, great personality, helpful and polite. The breakfast was fantastic, better than we have experienced in the top 5* hotels in the UK. They were happy to serve us food from the menu in the lounge bar after 11.00pm on a Sunday night.

The Hotel was very central located, and we could walk to all the main tourist areas very easily, including the West End. Also the Tube station was very close by and was a main line so could reach everywhere in London fairly quickly. The food was BRILLIANT. The staff were efficient. I would definatly go back again!
