I do enjoy this lovely hotel. Very very nice staff, always being helpful. wonderful location, convenient to everywhere, 5 minutes to underground. The room is not very big, but clean and comfortable. With wireless Internet access and all other facilities you might want, I even found a mini refrigerator in my room! I would be very likely to stay here gain:). The staff was lovely and I really enjoyed the room with bath. Usually when I travel alone I get very tiny rooms without a bath, but in the Regency Hotel I got this beautiful room with large bed and great bath. I took a bath three times in two days! I'll go to the Regency again next time I'll be in London for sure! .
all reviews » For the money you pay this is an excellent place to stay in London.Clean with friendly staff and an excellent full English breakfast. Wouldbe hard to beat for the money. Budget hotel but great value. Woulddefinitely stay there again. the room have all the facilities we needed and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds ive sleept in out side of my own bed. Ideal location for a a comfortable inexpensive overnight stay close to Eurostar in an area we already know and like. The location is excellent, close to all central attractions but quite at night so you were not disturbed.The Hotel was in a good location, quiet, with comfortable beds and an excellent full english breakfast. friendly staff, perfect location, clean room, nice breakfast, warm room, good value for money. great staff, great breakfast and fast wireless internet- free!. Front office staff should be more specific in providing information.It is rather small . The cold tap in the bathroom ran hot water most of the time so not possible to drink from it. The single bedrooms are quite small so fine for a short stay but not if visiting for a longer stay with more luggage.My room was next to an area where renovations were taking place, a little noisy. I found my room on the top floor to be very hot in the night even though I had a fan , but I think this was really down to the very hot weather as well.I liked the hotel. I think it was good choice. Small room but all facilities were included even ironing board. Internally noisy, iron and hair dryer did not work. When I booked, I asked for a twin bedroom, but there was only a doubleroom available.This problem was conveniently solved on the second dayof our stay.We would appreciate the luggage storage on our check out. The rooms were small, the breakfast simple with not enough variety to choose from.The shower cubicle was a bit 'grungy', and hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. Not enough to stop one using it though. The decor was a little shabby and could do with freshening up, althoughit was not at all dirty.Very small bathroom. Internet signal was very poor.The staff. The bed was 4 feet wide. If I had really minded my impression was that they'd have moved us cheerfully. We were only there to sleep for one night.rooms too small, there was only where to put half a wardrobe, apart from the bedside tables etc...! also the hotel is quiet expensive for the size of the room and everything else. TV would only go up to a certain volume that if you had the electric kettle on you would barely hear it and TV could not be switched off from the remote (or the remote was faulty). The hotel was clean but needed a face lift.I couldnt charge my laptop and batteries because all the electricity adaptadors where with customers and they didnt return them. That shows thats necesary to have more than they do. Very small room, but I knew this from the website. Reception staff during weekend was not highly qualified for the tasks performed.Service at breakfast not very good.
