Foyer on arrival was not clean and had an unpleasant smell, bad first impression. Hotel room extremely small and no chest of drawers to put clothes in, nowhere to put suitcase.

Full breakfast is pricy. Cooked items often burnt (sausages,toast etc.) and left lying too long. Limited selection of breads and rolls. Hotel is noisy-doors to corridors let in a lot of noise.

Came back to hotel just after midnight and bar was closing one hourearly as it had not been busy. However we felt this was a service we hadpaid for which was not available.

The rooms were very comfortable and well kept.

People I had booked twin rooms for were allocated doubles. This was not acceptable and took a lot of organising on the day for me to sort. The reception manager was very helpful with this.

The reviews said the single rooms were tiny, but the one I had was a decent size.

The pay movies didn't work. I phoned reception 3 times to ask for some one to sort it and no one did and no explanation why. Very poor.

Hotel's location is very good. We could walk to many tourist attractions.As most hotels in London downtown, the room was a bit small. But it was quipped fully. The staff members were very efficient.

location was very good. (See below: also if we were told on arrival at reception that we required our sign in card to be able to charge our bar drinks to the room that would have been a lot easier)

We, a party of 4, were surprised at the early closing of nearby bars. We decided to head back to the hotel to have a few drinks at the residents bar and were even more surprised to find that the bar closes at 1:00am. There were quite a few customers and it would have been very worthwhile for the bar to remain open. See above also.....

good location

we booked a deluxe double - on arriving we were allocated a twin - apparently they do not have deluxe double rooms. In addition our room was a disabled room no major issue but shelf in bathroom was very low. They also charged me VAT on departure which I subsequently had to discuss with them for a refund (but they handled the query well and rsponse in solving this issue was positive)

Location was exellent, easy to reach by bus or underground. The neighbourhood shops, pubs so close and very good! Friendly staff...

The bar is so expensive... :-)
