I am first time in London, single woman. Find this hotel on the internet and booked online. The hotel is situated in very convenient spot just in front of the tube station, all the amenities just around here. the price was £35 per night which is very cheap for central london. this was an excellent hotel for the price, central, good access to transport, friendly staff, clean and very helpful..will be staying again.

No tv in our room.But for £28 i shouldnt complain :) And the doors have gaps underneath them which means noises can be heard from the corridor.It is a very basic hotel an for the price we cannot really exect more. The room is kind of small but reasonable given its prime location. WiFi rather slow. Water outlets in the bathrooms sometimes blocked. 3% surcharge on the credit card payment. No table and no chair in the room. noise was a problem during my stay, although this down to the ignorance of guests in the adjoining room. Street noise was noticeable but tolerable, given my room overlooked Euston road. The toilet to our room was not so good, the shower didnt have any curtain so it was water in the hole bathroom wich also was very small, and in our room a lamp didnt work properly. The wi-fi signal was not very strong and the washbasins in the bathroom are the smallest I've ever seen :o). tiny rooms. I had to search for five bathrooms before finding one that was not full of builders rubble and had a mirror. Fortunately I carry a spare plug! my window had a broken pane.Would be perfect if the room had a table with 2 chairs, for those days when we buy wine and cheese to eat in the hotel. The shared bathroom was always in use by other guests.The knob that can be used to switch off the heater was rusted off, so it was very very hot, and the window could not open! Extremely hot that night!!!. The restrooms were often occupied.there should be a television and small fridge in every room. No plug for bath, and taps very difficult to open and close. After accepting credit card details after booking on internet, receptionist insisted on cash only for payment.no sink in room. No tea / coffee making facilities. (Website said there was) No wake up call (though one was promised). No TV.Poor working conditions for staff, windows would not shut, dirty towels. the stuff was very friendly, but easy to cheat with an open smile. shared bathroom, bathroom door was slamming waking me up a few times. bedroom walls are paper-thin and you can hear people next door. english 220V outlet standart :). For this price - no claims. Bathrooms are few and far between.
