My parents stayed here for one night and they were really impressed with this apartment as it was everything they needed for their stay. Just a five minute walk from the Surrey Quays station it was really easy to find. The room was quite spacious, clean and modern. When we’ve checked in we’ve found our room warm and ready even if we arrived 1 hour earlier than the standard check in time. all reviews » As a local I booked the room for my family to stay over, as it's close to where I live. The room was surprisingly nice as I have seen so many bad rooms offered for so much more money in London. I have booked 1 month in advance which made me spend for 3 nights £230 for a double room. The room had a double bed with a comfortable matress, stylish furniture and nicely decorated. The room was a little appartment with a nice kitchen, cooking hob and oven and cuttlery and crockery. Next to the appartm. A group of 5 of us booked an apartment, however when we got there it turned out letsbookhotel.com had listed the type of room wrong. We'd booked a studio. This wasn't suitable for us as there was a couple in our party. The staff at London stay happily gave us an extra room, free! The service is excellent. They had no obligation to give us anything. Especially free! I can recommend London stay to anyone looking for self catering accommodation. The rooms have everything you need. Everything is sp. Apartment was lovely and clean bedding smelt clean kitchen shower room and bedroom were all really modern and staff were friendly and let us have a late checkout as we stayed for the london marathon andwanted to shower afterwards. It was clean, comfortable and a very large spacious room which for London is great! There's a little kitchen so you can, if needing to save money, make your own food. The staff were friendly. Apartments werent in the nicest of areas and I wasnt sure how safe it was walking back from the station at night. There wasnt a proper carpark and was a bit worried about car crime although the car was fine. £90 for one night seems a bit much especially as the location isn't that great. I stayed there as I had a conference near by but if I was just visiting London for leisure, I doubt I'd stay in that area - a bit out of the way. Out of a week, two days I had to ask them to clean my apartment, because the cleaning lady did not do it The shower box could be a little bigger (and I am not a large person). car parking was on street area, was a little run down. there was no kettle to make a cup of tea, and you could here the noise from cars outside throught the thin windows, also the water heater keep cutting out while i was in the shower, i had to keep resetting the breaker. No bath soap or shampoo. The shower holder was broke. How many times does this small detail let a place down! Just spend a bit more money and the naff cheep plastic ones will remain on the shelf where they belong!. We thought we would have an appartment.. Turns out we had a room to sleep 4 people, a small bathroom and a shared kitchen.! Maybe should be advertised differently x. Car parking may become a bit difficult during busy time of the day. The parking is actually on-street. So you are not guaranteed a parking spot. no lift and narrow stairs. The noise of people arriving in the small hours and running up and down the stairs. The slamming of car doors near the room. The area, was afraid to walk on my own during the night. Also if you get a room overlooking the road make sure you can sleep with traffic noise. Difficult to check-in as I arrived after 22.00. The location - On website it said London Bridge which is extremely misleading as it is a £20 approx. Taxi ride from London Bridge. The bed was small and not very comfortable. The noise from passing traffic lead to a bad nights sleep. The apartment generally was extremely basic. Shared Kitchen Broken Showerhead No daily room clean / fresh towels. it was very basic and if there would have been 3 of us staying there as booked, it would have been ridiculous, we were expecting 3 rooms in an apartment not 3 beds in a room!. too much traffic, too noisy. Inadequacy of furnishings. It was just awful. Sound proofing terrible. Room was road side with traffic all night. May as well slept on the street. It was like staying in a store room. No feeling of comfort. Absolutely horrendous. It's location is very poor and these are not 'apartments', just rooms with a microwave. A kitchen is shared with other rooms. It was so bad that I didn't stay and booked somewhere else rather than stay there, even though I had to pay twice.
