A new Hotel, excellent location for our needs, a short walk to Aldgate East tube, the staff so friendly and helpful. We took a short taxi ride to Tower Pier and went on the Thames from Tower Bridge to Westminster. We loved Selfridges and had salty beef sandwiches at 'The Brass Rail Cafe' there. Warm welcome, friendly staff, lovely twin room with iron and ironing board :) comfy beds and very clean. Although it took a while to work out how to turn the lights on. My sister and I also had a meal which was excellent.
all reviews » The friendliness of all the staff. We were initially given a room with a shower only. But later upgraded to a room with bath tub. It made washing our 6 month old a lot easier. Its close to a subway station, 10 min walk. Its too good a hotel to be located in that environment. The staff are very warm and always present to assist, same for the housekeepers. Generally, its a good hotel I will want to return to during my next stay. Everything was really clean. The staff were very helpful and the room was lovely. We were only five minutes away from where we were visiting family and the taxi service was spot on. I liked everythin about it glad I stayed there and great for booking. Com for getting it me thankyou I will in future use booking. Com for all my hotel as I regular visit London. Staff were so nice and helpful and would definitely stay again!! That's the reason why I won't book again. Good travel connections to Victoria and Excel however i did not appreciate the neighborhood and I had my doubts about going out after business hours. Make sure you do your research on "commercial road". Location was bad and the breakfast was tasteless. expensive breakfast no German TV. - dodgy location - price! 290 GBP per night it's far too high for this level of service and hotel - there was no hot water on 5 July. the only response I received was "Sorry, our boiler broke". Yep, a room for 290 GBP per night with no hot water. They took my money for living twice, I wrote them 3 letters asking of this problem, but get no one answer. I can't find where to write and what to do. The check in and check out process was long. Also one of the receptionist was very arrogant.Noises coming from air con system in the room. The mini bar was almost empty when we arrived and not refilled. The area not the nicest part of London. Having 2 wait more than 35 mins before getting a room with no noise that apparently is near the lift . We stay here every month for a course that we are on. And the last few times we have had problems with the noise in our rooms.
