Loved our stay at the Hadleigh,we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment and it was really a lovely stay,comfortable clean beds,friendly staff,a very good location,a 2 min relaxed walk from marble arch ...it`s a pity that in May 2014 it`s fully booked...we would have booked it again.I Reccommand this hotel to everyone. Excellent location, very friendly & helpful personnel. Room is fully equipped: iron, microwave oven, frige, tea corner, hair dryer, safe. Wi-fi works fine. Great value for the money, will stay there again!.
all reviews » The staff were very friendly and helpful especially in giving us information about tubes and places to eat. We were also able to leave our bags with them when we checked out and collect them later in the day. They very kindly let us check in early in the morning. The apartment is a great size and is in a very convenient location. The beds were very comfortable. Laundrette across the road is handy. Kind careful friendly staff, nice rooms, no problems with water, everyday housekeeping. It was very pleasant to stay at the Hadleigh Hotel for 11 days. Great staff! "2 min walk to the tube"!(perfect) great coustomer service and help.lots of resturaunts and pubs a short walk away, quiet and perfect!. Room and bathroom have been big enough for three people. And a small kitchen was also included. Staff was extremely friendly. It was a nice stay!. Value for money - cheap and short way to all the shops in Oxford Street. Big rooms! Could hear everything both inside and outside the room. One of the bed sheets was so old so we could see through it (was chaned to the newer one in couple of days though). I didnt realise when booking it that there was no restaurant or bar.As we had a teenage son with us a bar/restaurant in the hotel would have been ideal. The kitchen could do with a bit of sprucing up. My room was in the corner and there was a bit hard to surf the internet through wi-fi. I needed to find "places" in the room to make connection better or to go out to the stairs. But actually wi-fi in room was enough to check mail and respond. and sometimes to skype home. The bedside lamps did not work. Our room were on the ground floor. We could hear everything outside our room, and at night or early morning it would wake us up. A bit irritating. Internet connection not optimal. No breakfast, but Valerie pastry is very good for 8-10 pounds, and only a 5 min. Walk from the hotel. The door of our room was open when we came back from our city tour, so be careful with your valuables. No elevator. No food in hotel (cafe right across street though). Bed sights uncomfortable. Rooms could do with updating slightly. no lift. Door handle locks need upgrading, no on-site breakfast room. Though outside temperature was 15°c, it was hot in the room and impossible to change it. No breakfast in the hotel, need to go outside; not expensive for London but not 3 stars-worth. Receptionist wasn't particularly friendly or helpful, I had to drag the suitcase on very narrow stairs on the last floor, room was in need of minor repairs and overall it felt a little shady. £92 might be 'good value' in London, but for a shabby hotel with no amenities it still felt over priced. Everything else. Very steep stairs and lots of them. Room at top with no hot water flow. Just not a very good hotel at all unless you are a backpacker and then at £92 it would be expensive. Wifi broken Not perfectly clean Issues with shower Bed not confortable. The fact that the hotel I booked on Hotel letsbookhotel.com didn't bear any resemblance to the hotel we arrived at. £102 was extremely expensive for the poor facilities. For an extra £20 we could have stayed at the Strand.
