The service was AMAZING! The contact was absolutly stunning and i've never been so taken care of by an hotel before. They really cared and were so sweet to us. It's pretty close to the City if you're up for a walk. The price was all right too. We could come here again, just for the service! Thanks alot!!!. It was clean & close to tube stations on quiet street yet 30 second walk to cafe's & bars. The manager was always aproachable, polite and helpful. We enjoyed staying here.
all reviews » Nice little room in the basement. Had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Ideal location, 5 minutes from tube station, shops within walking distance. The staff were very welcoming, room small but clean had everything we needed for short stay. This is definately a budget hotel but I have no complaints. The staff was very friendly and nice, informed us about city programmes as well. The location was good, and the room was comfortable for us as well. Champions league final at wembley . And rugby union final in London all that night. Could not get a hotel for less than £250. So was ok with room. It was clean and the beds were fine. I especially liked that we were given a key to the front door, meaning that we could come back to the hotel at anytime in the ight. Friendly helpful staff. Allowed me to stay on 1st floor instead of 8th as originally assigned as I have walking stick and couldn't make it to 8th. Very nice person who was in charge of the hotel. It was clean. Room a bit grubby and the carpets dirty and smelt a bit. Also I thought I had booked breakfast but they do not do that. However the hotel is called Goodwood B&B and advertises this on the out side of the hotel and I think on the internet. Didn't like how I had to share my bathroom. Not the cleanest hotel, quite cramped also. very small room, just fitted 3/4 double bed and tall 18 inch square cupboard. No bedside table or chair, had to use closed, upturned case or the floor. Very small hand wash basin with no plug. Had to collect towels and TV remote from down stairs. Not as expected from the web site. The hotel was dirty and crampy, outlived, as was the room. The shared shower was two stories below. The room was a postage stamp, tthe bed was uncomfortable, the "flat screen TV" was smaller than my computer screen and the antenna lost the signal every tume we moved. The room had no chair, nor room for one, and when the person who worked their saw we had 3 suitcases and 2 carry-ons he was afraid there would not be room for the luggage in the room. Run down, very basic, cramped room. Shared loo and shower. Shower was a dribble from hand held shower head. No fully functioning toilet on our floor. Awful smell on top floor. Unclean stairway. Extremely loud outside all night. Only one working plug socket. Extremely small shower room. The small twin room at the front was very noisy. We had to ask for towels and the TV remote. The kettle used the only chair. No bedside table, had to use closed upturned case. Bed covers - one folded blanket reminiscent of war time utility. In all very grotty and not at all like the pictures on the web site!. We were given a room in the grounfloor with windows that opened up to someone's house rather than to the outside and therefore there was no fresh air in the room - we felt the room would have been acceptable for half the price we paid. No breakfast was provided. There were only small hand soaps in the bathroom. Value for money was not great. Shower room not cleaned. Need 5 pounds to keep bag after checkout. Booked a twin room, they didn't have one. Two guys had share a (very small) double Bed. The room was filthy, run down, "tv" was about the size of a small laptop screen. Sign which says WiFi was temporarily down looked very very old. facilities very basic, toilets a bit run down and too many people sharing shower room. Rooms tired and cramped. Shared bathrooms dirty. Dirty, old, no lift or offer to help gets heavy luggage up to top floor, dirty blanket, noisy, TV didn't work... Cost, too expensive, no locks on the bathroom and toilet window. Wouldn't stay again even if free. Bedside light didn't work; faulty wiring. &Quot;You pay for what you get", not in this case. Can't say no more as it would just spoil the weekend we had in Paris. Too Noisy busy street, never slept, felt unsafe as locks on doors were rather loose, inside was noisy as other guest seemed to party all night No hot water in morning, shower rooms were in need off cleaning and revamp. no breakfast available. would not advise to lone women travellers. The dirty room and bathrooms. We couldn't pay by card so we had to look for a banc at night. huge difference between the pictures showed on the website and the room I actually got. The main reason that I chose this hotel was because they said in the internet that they have wi fi... But they don't have it in the room and it made me very disappointed... Because I went there to work and I need internet to work... Dirty, cramped, unpleasant room which bore no relation to the photo published on the letsbookhotel.com website. Poor toilet/ washing and shower facilities. Certainly not worth £59.50 per night. Paid before viewing the room. How the goodwood sold the room, but then diverted me to one of his neighbors, for me to stay at. I ended up staying at a dump where the bed was falling apart (I had to throw my suitcase under the bed otherwise the center sank) they couldn't give me the wifi password because they were unsure what it was. There was more furniture that needed to be in the tiny dumpy room. The walls wer paper thin and you could hear everything from neighbouring "suites".
