I stayed for my wedding pre night and actual night. They upgraded my room and generally looked after me, with much care. Daniel the manager was fantastic. They couldn't have been more helpful. My parents stayed as well and they loved it too. Very friendly, it's a beautiful hotel to stay in, bit like walking onto a Merchant Ivory set. It feels calm and tranquil. I could've stayed for weeks.

Staff were excellent and friendly, food was good

Having stayed in hotels throughout the world the room was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever stayed in. The bed was old and hard, the room was unbelievably hot - I suggest you invest in an air conditioning system - and for 165 per night it just is not good enough.
