The location was excellent. Two minutes from Lancaster tube station. Room was very clean and it was very quiet. Would definately stay there again. Staff were very helpful. Lovely part of London. The place was lovely and hospitable. The stuff were kind especially Graham :) and the breakfast lady who were so flexible and sweet. Location was brilliant. Exactly what we needed.

It should be a little bit more with more choice.I asked for a wake up call at 6 am to catch a train early, and ended upwaking the guy at the entrance myself at 6:10 am to get him to unlockthe door so I could leave !. The bathroom was too small. There was no night table on which to put your stuff. No TV remote control. Yes, the walls are thin, but I had no problem sleeping. Very small /but efficient/ rooms. The bed was also very small but surprisingly comfortable. Room was cleaned every day, but nobody cleaned the carpet floor. Poor breakfast - flakes, toasts, jam, sometimes cheese or cruasants. Bad coffee, but tasty butter :). Not really a dislike but room was a bit small but adequate. I didn't like the curtain in the shower,it was very dirty.Difficult to find, because of small presence on street, and poor signage. Rooms were compact, but fine for a few days break. Should add automatically coffee and milk when cleaning the rooms w/o request. no heat,the bathroom didn't dry so smell of mold in the room and bathroom. For us the rooms were a bit too small, but if you have just to sleep there and have a shower in the morning before the visit to the city is good enough. Small rooms/beds. breakfast limite and no tv remote. Small room. We had the family room that was little more than a regular sized room with extra beds shoved in. Little to no luggage storage room for a family. No fridge. Most of the staff could use some people skills. Must go ask for a hair dryer if you need one. Only english-style electrical outlets in room. Very noisy in the hotel. Need to take more time cleaning and with basic maintenance. Room and bathroom very small. Space exclusivelly for one suitcase.The room was quite small for a family room, but it was clean and nice. The tea/coffee cups in the room was not dished on all week, we had to do that ourselves in the bathroom. The bathroom in the hotel is very very small and hard to move around in. the cupboard is also very small and located at a hard place to use.Room could've been a bit bigger. The room was tiny - 6'6" x 10'. The bath was about the size of my motor home's bath. There was very limited space and no place to store our bags. Actually you wouldn't store them away because the was no place to put your clothes away.Dishes in room not cleaned daily. poor walls - noise from other rooms. very small room, sometime lack of hot water. rooms could be more usufull with some equipment. size of ensuite, very small. dull colours of walls etc.

Travelling information

From Paddington Station: There are two exits from Paddington station on either side of Praed St. Coming out on Praed St, make sure you make a turn towards Craven Rd not on to Edgware Rd. Once travelling on Craven Rd keep walking until you see the sign of Craven Terrace on the left. From Lancaster Gate: Coming out on Bayswater Rd, turn right and cross at the first crossing. Keep walking on Bayswater Rd and look on your right for a road sign saying 'Lancaster Gate leading to Craven Terrace'. You will find the sign at the corner of the street which comes just after the signal crossing.
