The hotel rooms are not at all like advertised. We were allocated a room that I can only describe as filthy. When I complained I was eventually allocated a room that was basic but reasonably ok. The staff and restaurant and general facilities were good.There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room and I like to have tea when I wake up. Food. It would be nice to have a possibility to make a cup of tea in the room.The size of the room was to small for a double. the breakfast was poor. Oldfashioned. Described as spacious and tastefully decorated; actually barely bigger than the bed, very tatty and the radiator was stuck in the full on position with no valve. Had to be turned off with spanner!. rooms and bathrooms need updating. The room was very small. The curtains were filthy dirty, including all the paint work,doors and frames. The breakfast was minimal and very little choice, with tinned peaches and prunes every morning.
