It's a good choice for staying up to 3 days in London, the distance to the top places in London is compensated by a good conection trough the bus.

They didn't tell us to call them before our arrival, nobody answered the bell and we had to spend 1 hour until the staff came to the hotel to open. They should improve this point.

A good budget hotel . The rooms are clean and very small. Some rooms have a shower and toilet. In the soul of a liquid soap and shampoo. It has free Wi- fi. The bus stop is located near the exit of the hotel. On the bus number 87 can get to the Houses of Parliament / Big Ben / Trafalgar Square. Also, the bus takes you to the Vauhhall (Victoria Linе - London Underground ) and Wandsworth Road Station (London Overground). Near the hotel is a few small cafes and McDonalds. But it's easier to buy bread , cheese, sausage in Sainsburys stores and eat sandwiches in the room with tea. Each day brought new room tea bags, milk and cookies!

No designate the hotel, and if you do not know exactly where he is - hard to find. Rooms are small :) Well very small.

The room and bathroom was pretty clean. The central heating was good and we were able to regulate temperature in the room. There is a bus stop right near the hotel and a metro station in 10 minutes walk, so you can easily get to the centre of London. Girl on reception was friendly.

Noise :( Hotel is located on a quite busy street and sometimes we heard sound of sirens (either police or ambulance) in the middle of the night. Owners should strongly consider replacing windows with the new ones, that will isolate noise.

The location is really convinient: 15 min bus ride to reach the centre of London and the bus stop is right in front of the House. Nice staff, clean rooms, on overall: a really smart choice for accommodation in London.

I arrived two hours early, even though it, then the staff was very pleasant and warm to me. The room was clean and comfortable. All facilities are exemplary. Location is very good, the bus stops close to the house and the tupe station is few minutues away. Strongly recommend this inn.

the cleanliness of the room was a plus plus. I had stayed in a "supposed" budget hotel days earlier for which i had spent the same amount and was not as good as clapham. the tea facilities were a major plus too and the shower was amazing. i wish we were not there for business otherwise it'd have been nice to stay an extra day to just chill with my friends. Keep up the good work guys!!

I really can't fault anything in this hotel. Perhaps a clear sign at the entrance would be great.

I loved the convenience of riding the bus into London city center and did not need to catch the tube most of all the time we were there. It is clean and price is reasonable.

This was our fourth stay at Clapham Guest House. As always the room was clean and tidy and, considering the location, amazingly quiet. Clapham is a really good place to stay, the Common is a peaceful 'oasis' and the high street is very authentic 'South London'. It's nice to be able to get away from the bustle of central London, without feeling you're out in the suburbs!

Clean, comfortable room. Very nice and modern bathroom and shower. But .... we didn't get a chance to meet the famous Kevin - so that was a bit of a disappointment! Lots of good pubs and restaurants in the immediate area.

A bit of a walk from the Clapham Tube station. Location is on a busy road, so traffic noise is (can be) a bit of a problem if you are not really tired, or wear ear-plugs, as we did; but, we did get a good night's sleep despite this fact.

The rooms and facilities are spotlessly clean. I also stayed in the Chelsea guest house, connected with this guest house and the same was true. Anna, at reception was simply fantastic. I was changing to Clapham and she kept my bag for me, gave me directions and made things so much easier. The other staff members were also extremely helpful.

Floors were a bit creaky and the rooms are a little hot when you get in. Easily fixable but it takes a while to cool down. But these things would not stop me from staying here again obviously. Fantastic spot

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room and bathrooms were clean, modern and nicely kept. I also liked the location.

Floors were very thin with no underlay beneath the carpets so you could hear every single step. Some of the sockets were blocked. Probably to save some electricity, but it was really annoying when I tried to charge my phone and my kindle and had to plug one of them at the other end of the room.

The Staff are lovely. Very friendly and helpful. The rooms and facilities are immaculate and very clean.

Do not expect to get any sleep. Because of the price the place was full of drunk people who slammed doors and made a racket throughout the majority of the night. Yes,it was a Saturday night so I suppose to be partially expected.

Too noisy due to being on ground floor, floorboards above creaked every time someone walked on them. Front door needed oiling heard everyone who entered.

Hard to locate the guest house as there was no 'board' outside the house....very frustrating; made us to walk all through the street. '685-Wandsworth Road' is not just enough, need obvious sign to locate the guest house.

Our room was in the front - heavy traffic. It was hot so had to have the window open; but, a lot of traffic noise.

Close to bus stop into central London. Very frequent buses to major tourist area plus. Clapham common station close by and so are many shops for dinning and grocery

Receptions not there all the time. Any queries will have to wait or there's a phone on wall to ring the sister Chelsea guest house. Inconvenient. Actually noisypeople walking can be heard tho doesn't happen that often

The walls and ceiling are like paper, so when the people above us got up and started moving around at 7am the creaking of footsteps and voices made it very difficult to get back to sleep. There was also no hot water in the shower and the bathroom itself was freezing. Not much fun on a cold day in March.

Clean and simple. The bathroom was spacious and the shower excellent. The guest was somewhere to stay the night, nothing more, nothing less. Surprisingly quiet despite being on a main road.

No sign outside to help find it. No shower gel/shampoo. There didn't seem to be anywhere to go in the building except your room.

The bathroom and toilets were very clean

The noise of the bath ventilator is strong and awakes you. The floor creaks very much. The sound of the water pipes is very strong too. Saturday afternoon and Sunday nobody in reception.There is only a very small table ocuppied by a tea tray: If you want to use your laptop you must use it on the bed. Only two small drawers in small bed table. No place for your clothes. I arrival at 13:00h and I must paid 5 pounds additionaly for an early checkin.

Very helpful at the sister hotel Chelsea guest house as they helped us out with printed off maps to get to the moonwalk we were doing ...also very helpful with directions x

I'd asked for an extended stay until 1 which was granted over the phone but when the cleaner arrived she said we had to vacate the room as she hadn't been informed of this arrangement and the manager didn't work on Sundays !!!! So I wasn't very happy
