Lighting. The choice and level of lighting available was too deem and very poor. It made the rooms appear dingy.

The bathroom was beautiful, my husband and I are both over 6ft and we fitted in the bath!! miracle! The manager was lovely and he made us feel welcome.
- Room was too small for a luxury double. - Room was too dark, could not apply my makeup accurately - Needed a mirror where the plugs were for doing hair.

The reputation of this chic boutique hotel precedes it... It may on first glance seem a little overly styled but in actual fact it has a real laid back and very discreet charm. The rooms are spotless, flawlessly presented and immaculately groomed to give the seasoned traveller a degree of comfort and relaxation with luxurious touches. The food is excellent and the service noteworthy, I would certainly stay here again.
The shower is a little irritating in that the dials to operate it are actually in a position where you can only reach them by standing in the shower...and the wifi was pants! Kept dropping out and was extremely frustrating as it became nigh on impossible to maintain the signal consistently... Not great when you have business to attend to.
The hotel is very nice, secluded, perfect for a getaway. Rooms are impeccable but expensive. Staff is very pleasant and accomodating .
The room categories changed since my last visit and the rooms that used to be called luxury suites cost now about 50 percent more and are called Signature Suite. A totally artificial new category to justify a price increase.

On closer inspection the hotel room was a bit shabby (cig burn marks on bedside table and dressing table) lovely bath in the room and would have expected complimentary bubble baths but there were none. We ordered taxi through the hotel to go shopping and we discovered we had been overcharged on every taxi by £10
