The Hotel is perfect, great location and extremely clean. The staff is exceptional! They went out of their way to please. We were early and extremely tired, they rushed to get a room ready for us. They also allowed us to come early to breakfast the next day and served the most delicious fresh cooked breakfast. We will definantly come back!!

I have read complaints that the room was small and so was the bathroom,This is true BUT it is well stocked and had everything you could need, I have stayed in far worse and far more expensive places in London. This hotel was perfect!

Great location and excellent customer service provided by the Spanish (gentleman)receptionist. He was approachable, friendly and always anticipating customer needs and exceeding expectations.

They actually provide a good service, u know as a room with such price and excellent location, I mean, do not ever expect the room like a 5 stars level. Breakfast was great! very merciful the aged. recommended!

If I have to pick one of the weakness, I need to say the shower machine was not so good, somehow getting cold or hot. Also the size was not big, but it was fine for me

Close to Paddington, all the needed things are available in the room - bed, TV, shower, euro charger (no adapter required), even a tea set was there. In addition there is a good view on Sussex Gardens street and a big window in the room.

The only thing which really surprised me was that there was NO closet in the room - only shower and sink

The garden setting to our room. A comfortable bedroom with tv and tea making facilities. Also the staff were attentive from reception to manager.

My Grandson and I had no complaints and would return again should we visit London as the convenience of the hotel to our sightseeing quest could not be better.

Apart from one member of staff difficult to communicate with staff team due to language. (Frustrating) £10 for parking per night is a bit steep.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room clean and breakfast very nice, variety if required. Very accommodating staff. Located around the corner from Paddington station. I would stay here again on our next trip to London.

Our room was on the third floor and there was no lift so it was difficult carrying luggage up. The staff did offer to carry the luggage up for us. Also the Wifi was not very good.

Location was great close to Paddington Tube & railway station & bus stops. Plenty of options to dine. Hotel was recently refurbished and very clean. Room was too warm and no air conditioning. Quality of breakfast was excellent, but be early.

Hours for breakfast very restricted 7.00am to 8.30am, elderly Spanish female owner was rude and aggressive. Breakfast room was inadequate considering the number of rooms in the hotel.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was neat clean daily. The breakfast, although only served from 7:00 to 8:30 am is served by a friendly staff and big enough to skip lunch. The hotel is idealy placed and only 2 blocks away from Paddington station. A great experience.

Bathroom (shower, toilet and wash bowl) is too crouded. It's truly a unique (almost impossible) experience to have a shower and dress in the same space!!!

Everything was great, great location, great hotel, and great bedrooms. The staff was very polite, and we didn´t have any problem with the breakfast, because I read about people who was waiting to have breakfast, but we arrived at 7.50 some days (and the breakfast finished at 8.30) and there was no problem for us. I suppose that if you arrive at 8.20, you will have to wait...

Had to climb 74 steps to reach Room 18 on the top floor. Tiny room where I could barely move. Poor wifi reception for most of my stay. Breakfast room very small for the amount of guests.

The room was clean and tidy, the staff were pleasant. The room was ready early and we were able to go straight in. The hotel was within easy walking distance to the tube station. It was also just a short walk away from Oxford street. Our stay in London was perfect the hotel was a great location. Would definitely stay there again. Breakfast was also very nice and included in the price.

The only thing I didn't like was the tables for breakfast only seated four people and we were a family of five. The hotel has rooms for five so it would have been nice to sit together at breakfast.

Balmoral house hotel was very central and close to Paddington station and underground.The hop-on-hop-off buss was just up the street. Everything you need is in a 2 minute walk from hotel, but it was still extremely quiet.excellent location and very clean.

The breakfast room was too small, they need to enlarge it. There were up to 10 people waiting to be seated at times.

1. The full English breakfasts were excellent. 2. The tea-making facility in the room was very welcome & the TV was an added bonus. 3. The shower-room though very small was very clean. 4. The location was excellent with good facilities nearby. I HAVE booked to go back in September with another female friend - hopefully not a double bed this time! But looking forward to our stay.

1. Room was too small and too hot & given we were in a heat-wave, the fan was inadequate. 2. We were a group of 3 mature(!) females and 2 had to share a double bed - we were given to believe it was 3 singles. 3. Breakfast was perhaps served a tad early from 7:00 to 8:30 - could have been extended to 9.30 or 10:00. We had to queue on the stairs the last day as everyone wanted the latest sitting around 8:15.

Location ideal - 5-10 min. to Padddington station. Staff kind & attentive, rooms cosy, clean & typical British-styled. Breakfast delicious (warm fresh Scones daily). Definitely again!

Breakfast times - 7-8:30 a.m. too short for the small breakfast room! Therefore sometimes queuing. Hopefully in the future longer breakfast times in case there´re no vacancies.

The rooms and en suite, although very small, they were spotless. Hotel situated close to shops, restaurants and tube station. . Substantial breakfast and quick service, but had to be there early in the morning or we would have had to wait on the stairs to get a table as the dining room was very small

When booking I asked for no stairs. I was given a room on the top floor. I'm 70yrs old and find stairs a problem. However Edwardo was very helpful and gave us a room on the ground floor next day. I didn't like Having to cross a busy road to get breakfast in the morning

The hotel was bight fresh and clean throughout. Breakfast was good and set you up for the day!

The weather was good during our stay,but would like to cross the road to mainhotel for breakfast in rain and bad weather. Dining room abit cramped, sharing tables ok but not my ideal choice, maybe a bigger dionning room or change/ expansion of times.

Great excellent fabulous service at breakfast. Food very decent, but their service is better than most restaurants... And it's free. I was compelled to leave a tip, though none is needed or expected (the lady actually caught up to me to tell me I forgot my money).

Older gentleman who works there has difficulty with the English language. But, he tries! Also, the worst part of a top floor room is that the wifi signal is very weak.

Older man on the desk , needs to keep his racist comments to him self. Sadly the way he treated a person of color that was looking for a room made we sick and embarrassed, and it always will be what I remember first about his hotel.

The hotel is situated close to Paddington Station with easy access to Lancaster Gate Tube station. The room was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. There was a pleasant breakfast in the morning and it was possible to leave luggage at the hotel to collect later. I had an extremely enjoyable stay and would certainly use the hotel again. The price of the stay was also very reasonable considering the location.

The bathroom was rather small but certainly adequate. On arrival the room was rather hot and I would imagine on a hot summers night, if the window was kept open, it could be a bit noisy.

The staff were very welcoming & the room was clean & very comfortable. I really liked the fact that there were proper ceramic cups to have tea or coffee with in the rooms, as so many hotels only provide paper ones & importantly for me, there were 8 little milk cartons, as opposed to the usual 1 per person. The biscuits to have, with your beverage, was a lovely touch, also. The breakfast was lovely & was served very quickly, which really suited me,as I had to get a train. The staff at breakfast were friendly & very helpful. The bed was very comfortable & a very good variety of tv stations. I was also very impressed that the shampoo in the bathroom was not tested on animals. It is situated in a great place for seeing London & lots of shops & restaurants in the vicinity

Not a lot of negative things to say. The room was up 6 flights of stairs & perhaps it would have been nice to have help with my case. The only other thing I can think of is that there was no shower gel in the bathroom.

We liked that we could have a family room with five beds which saved us having to book 2 rooms in other hotels. The staff were accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was good and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We also liked that they looked after our luggage when we checked out so we could enjoy another day in London without having to take our suitcases with us. Overall excellent value for money, ideally situated for Paddington station, around the corner there is a tour bus stop, and there are plenty of places to eat for all budgets in the immediate area. Would definitely stay here again.

There was nothing that we did not like, the only small thing I could mention is the small bathroom, but this really did not spoil our stay.

The staff of the Balmoral Hotel was friendly and accommodating. My single room was clean and provided me with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location was perfect, just a couple of blocks from Paddington Station (on the tube). The breakfast was abundant. I will stay here in my next visit to London.

It was within easy reach of the tube and Hyde Park, we walked to Oxford st as well. The hotel is very clean and we got fresh towels every day and tea & coffee, the staff were very friendly.

We were on the 3rd floor and there was no lift but they moved us to the ground floor no problem, breakfast is 7 to 830am which we thought too early but was lovely, we had to cross a main road for breakfast as it was in the other hotel, one day we queued for 20 minutes on the stairs because the dining room was full and its not big enough for the amount of guests using it.

Very nice, friendly welcoming atmosphere. We were allowed to leave our bags for a few hours so we could do some sight seeing, that was a very nice gesture most places would say no. We will be back again.

No lift and fairly steep stairs would not suit anyone with a disability or impaired capability. Not a problem for myself but could be a problem for some.
