The location was excellect, few minutes from Euston, few minutes from Russell square. Staff very friendly.. Breakfast choice varied and tasty. Looked after luggage for no extra cost before booking in and after booking out. Location was in a lovely quiet area, and ideal location close to station, and place of work,staff very helpful, room clean and comfortable. excellent value for money.

All around, it was nicer than many other hotels I've used at this price. family room was located at very top of hotel with steep difficult access up spiral staircase. Half the room was tilted - so much so that we almost could not put things on the table for fear it would roll off. Radiators were full on all night so room was too hot.a blind or curtain needed in bathroom. only had 1 towel and there were 3 people staying there. but asked front desk for more and they gave us some.Breakfast starts late (7.30) although staff very accommodating to serve me early. The bathroom was very clean, the same with the seats on the bed but I think that the floor was not very well hoovered. It is quite difficult to notice when there is carpet, so more attention is needed on that.Minor criticism but perhaps more towels as I was only given one. The overall service was very good. The basement room I stayed in could do with some means of air conditioning. There wasn´t any noise at night really, but on one morning I heard screams and cheers from some part of the hotel where a group of women seemed to be having some kind of party (or maybe they´d just come in from a night out....). I though the single room was a bit small but i have satayed at other hotels in Cartright Gardens and they are all the same . It felt cramped - the room was not well organised but for sheer value it was unbeatable. I emphasise that. no lift. our room was on the top floor last flight of stairs were very narrow with a suitcase.

Take the A2 Airbus to Russell Square.

By Train:
From Gatwick Airport:
Take the Gatwick Express train to Victoria station. From Victoria you can either take a taxi to the hotel, or take the Thames Link British Rail train to King's Cross station located within walking distance of the hotel. Alternately, you can take the tube from Victoria station to Euston or Russell Square station, both few minutes from the hotel.

From Stanstead Airport:
Take the Stansted Express train to Liverpool Street station. From Liverpool Street you can either take a taxi to the hotel or take the tube to Euston station which is within walking distance of the hotel.
